  • @ltf, that plane has no rudder pedals, the rudder is coupled with ailerons. There is only on pedal and it is the brakes. Only plane like that that I know of.

  • So inspirational. I'd really like to see her perform surgery next.

  • Wow what a will power, that alone will do the work of 100 motivational speeches. Wonder how she uses the rudder or maybe she doesn't use it at all..

  • Amazing woman !

  • ok wait, so motivational speakers earn enough to get a pilots license and to pay for the maintainence, plane parking spot, (plane?!) and fuel?

  • Shes so adorable too. What an amazing lady.

  • awesome and inspiring

  • like to promote so as to inspire people and support disabled ones

  • she inspires me!! I want to be a pilot

  • PURE EPICNESS!!!

  • May God bless her .. truly inspirational!!!

  • When she can do it why we cant all , thats the sprit

  • how about the rudders ?,

  • @hejsanhejsan2 The rudders are automatically controlled by the yoke on this plane.

  • @hejsanhejsan2 The ercouope that she is flying was made to fly without rudder pedels. The rudder is interlinked with the alierons.

  • Foot fetish guys go crazy over her.

  • I waana be the co pilot

  • Yeah yeah yeah she can fly a plane, let's see her clap

  • pretty lady!!

  • Super wonderful and inspirational...But, how does she operate the rudder?

  • Inspirational.

  • The narrator says "It looks scary but she does it like a pro" Like a pro? She is a "Pro" If she has a earned her license and fly's like no one else.

  • @yspueblo @gmcjetpilot

It's no matter where she is from. She is an inspiring example for all of us.

  • She's a great inspiration for everyone, though I really don't understand why people must point out her race in these comments as if it boosts her status further.

    Seriously, I envy her abilities.

  • no words for this lady man awesome awesome awesome.

  • I know this woman she's a Filipino-American

  • that girl rocks! Us Arizonians dont need arms to be AWSEOME! :)

  • Amazing, admirable and almost unbelievable!

  • wavoo...No word to say..She is really awesome

  • Wow, she is so cool, she has accomplished far more in life without arms what most people accomplished with them.

  • she kinda cute tho lol

  • Don't planes have rudder pedals?

  • @deleonrikkie This is an airplane called an Aircoupe or Aerocoupe. This airplane was designed with no rudder pedals. The plane was made to use the yoke to do the job of the rudder pedals.

  • She's flying an Ercoupe, which does not contain rudder pedals. The rudder is linked with the ailerons. This is the only plane, that I am aware of, that doesn't require rudder pedals.

  • Thanks, was wondering how it would be possible for her to pass without being able to perform a co-ordinated turn!

  • If she decides to come home to the Philippines and run for President in 2018, she'd probably win. Right now all our candidates suck.

I apologize for Willie (game show host) in Wowowee for not giving you the credit you deserve. He's probably just dumbfounded that you're a pilot and more.

  • What a remarkable lady. Truly inspirational!!

  • wow she can do anything with her feet and many ppl have a hard enough time doing it even with arms

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we enjoy flying and pilot an aeroplane?

    (2) What does flying and aviation mean to females?

    (3) Why do girls want to fly high and become a pilot?

    (4) Through flying, what have female pilots proved and demonstrated to the world? or, What kind of social value(s) have female pilots brought up?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • Man! she's good LOOKEN! a honey in My book!

  • yes i know i didnt say she's not but still she's half of it was filipino..

all are best in Gods heart..both equal...

  • Jessica was a teacher at my church for sunday school she tied my shoes with just one foot

  • Yeah, I remember... Meanwhile, she gave me a happy ending with the other foot... man, those were the days...

  • Sure I am... but at least not shit enough to notice when someone is trying to make a Yoke ;-)

  • You are wrong. This is what my Pilot Dictionary Says:

Definition of a "Good" Landing: You leave the airplane in one piece.

Definition of "Perfect" Landing: You can use the airplane again!

Jessica You are my Hero!!! :D

  • Having no arms did'nt stop Her.

  • Amen to that Borthers and Sisters!

  • Damn I think she is the best pilot in the world. She is gifted.

  • This is a great compliation :)

  • Respect Jessica.... x

  • That's crazy. Gotta give her some serious respect for that. Then to top it off, she has a good humor about it wearing that shirt.

  • Mad skills...if you put ure mind to it I guess you can do it.

  • EXCENET !! COMPLIMENTS GIRL!!!

  • She's an inspiration.

  • I just saw her today . She came to our airport (Greece) accompanied from one of our flight academy's colleague , Mr Kostas Tsagdis, owner of an Ercoupe ! I must say she won the hearts of all around !!! Incredible smile , incredible pilot, incredible human being ! Thak you for your photos , Jessica ,even if you 'll never read this , thank you for your unique silent message ... LeoN .

  • Its cute and very inspirational. But I havent build up the confidence to be a passenger in such a situation. I mean, I get nervous just watching seniors drive cars.

  • I understand your feelings, but have you seen how other people drive with their hands? They are looking at the DVD player, Texting, mindlessly talking on the cell phone and putting on make-up in the rear view at 60 MPH!

I don't think she is the problem if you drove with her, it would be other drivers. She may not be able to win the Indy 500, but if she wanted to, I would not bet against her. Let face it her attitude puts most of us to shame. Thanks for the good comment, Cheers

  • All those other drivers make me nervous also. Including drivers that try to search for items in the back seat, while driving.

I must say that she is totally putting a lot of people to shame with her "can do" attitude, and its very rare and amazing. But similar to other seemingly impossible stunts, most people prefer to be watching the stunt rather than participating.

  • our cameras were mounted inside the plane to see... ha, yeah the host was like this is very cute but I am not going inside that plane.

  • I don't know how the categories of license work, but perhaps she isn't allowed to carry passengers?

Still pretty inspirational - and she plays the piano better than I ever will.

I wonder how she works the rudder though.

  • Guys! All of you are talking about the airplane and whether she can fly another plane and the technicalities. THIS CLIP IS INSPIRATIONAL. LOOK AT THE ATTITUDE. IT ABOUT DOING THINGS WHICH ARE 'IMPOSSIBLE'...PLEASE TALK ABOUT THAT...

  • I believe that the original Ercoupe was designed with the rudder(s) linked to the yoke so no rudder pedals are installed.

  • :) she has a dream

  • holy crap that's amazing

  • wow, that's really difficult... i admire her..

  • Sooo what about the rudder?

  • Good point! The rudder peddles aren't there just for show! A good cross windwithout the ability to compensate w/ the rudder peddles equals a crash.

That being said I admire her spirit!

  • Amazing. I'd fly with her anyday.

  • I'd like to know how the FAA issued her a medical when they yank them away for things like sleep appnia and athsma

  • Any thing that could cause you loss of consciousnesses is different from a physical impairment. I believe she has sport pilot certificate. The medical requirements are different. However for a private pilot certificate you need a 3rd class medical. Wavers are given on a case by case basis, often requiring a special practical (in the airplane) evaluation. No doubt she is limited to that airplane or special adapted aircraft. As a former flight instructor, watching the video, she is safe.

  • holy shit?

  • Yeah, ok, it's touching, but come on you polly-anna retards, that is not safe and you all know it. Would you send your kids up with her?! No, you wouldn't, because IT'S FUCKING INSANE!!!!

  • Oh yes!

    Thats cool!

  • awesome

  • great story ... but why didnt' the reporter fly with her instead of sending two cameras up?

  • Why?? Would you?

  • An amazing woman

  • Well it is not very simple to connect the siderudder with the movement of the ailerons and this on a Steeringwheel alone, but than also the brakes are normal connected with the footpedals ?

I mean its simple but a little dangeros to pilot sutch a aeroplane.

I was a hunterpilot in the second worledwar and was flying the Me 109 without any accident.

  • she's beautiful

  • actually shes very sexy :)

  • From one pilot to another. Very awesome!

  • They should video this in High Schools so teenagers learn to be grateful and not expect to be given everything with a silver spoon.

  • No rudders on the eurcope

  • There is a rudder on the eurcope , it is just interconnected with the ailerons, see the vid notes. There are no rudder peddles, I think you mean.

  • stay off my page you racist cunt.

  • great!

  • I would fly with Jessica any day. A black belt in TKD to boot? This young lady is a testament to the will and smarts of one made of the right stuff. Jessica means Gift from God.

  • Incredible...way to go Jessica...very inspirational

  • thats airplane is an ercoupe. its one of the few aircrafts that do not have rudder pedals. originally it was desgined for people who wanted to fly but couldnt because they were missing a leg or two. i think it was focused for pilots who lost their extremities after the war.

but anyways great acomplishment for the girl. congrats.

  • The Ercoupe has been discussed in detail in the video notes and previous comments. Your comment that it was designed for people missing legs who wanted to be pilots (WWII vets) is wrong. The Ercoupe came out in 1941 and went bust the first time in 1946 (blows the WWII theory). It had 3-innovations of the day: Nose gear (avoid nose over of wheel planes), twin tail with limited elevator travel (stall/spin proof) and interconnect of aileron/rudder. It was to make it easier for ALL people to fly.

  • holy shit.

  • Totally amazing, I doubt i'd go out of the house if I lost my arms just sit about feeling sorry for myself. I find an excuse NOT to do most things.

  • A magnificent portrait of daring human mind when challenged...she is awesome, +ive +ive and +ive minded sprit...very inspirational...wish her a wonderful flying for many years to come...

  • amaizing!!!

  • People like her are gifts to the world

  • This is one of the few planes she could fly, most require rudder pedals. Its a great story but slightly missleading, she has a light sport license its a brand new one created in 04. She can not actually obtain a private pilots lic because she could not pass the medical. Great story though.

  • she's pretty hot too!

  • tremendo!!!

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

  • energetic fun smart and loves this video

hi anyone want to chat AF

  • that inspires me. Really makes you feel bad about not doing your best and giving up. makes you realize what you can accomplish if you just put your mind to it. you go

  • she is amazing

  • Awesome!

  • amazing!

  • God bless her.She ia very amazing girl.

  • ??? whats the song she is playing on piano ?? PLS at 0.25

  • "Amazing Grace" well-known Christian hymn by Englishman John Newton and which first appeared in print in Newton's Olney Hymns (1779).

"Amazing Grace how sweet the sound...

It is a very pretty song. I am amazed she can play it, as so well.

  • Amazing Grace :D

  • She is flying a Ercoupe, Rudder and Ailerons are connected, as a result foot rudder pedels are not need.

Congrat's on your pilot licenses, not a easy thing to do even with arms and legs.

Best of luck in your future!!!!

  • AMAZING! You go grrrrrrrl!

  • woooow WOOOOW! man that's totally awsome!

    what about the rudder?

  • amaizing...

  • that's hot

  • Jessica, you are SO AMAZING! The world needs more people with wonderful, positive attitudes like yours. Congratulations on getting your pilot's license!! :-)

  • She rocks!

  • She's a hottie! Nice legs and cute feet!

...oh, and very smart and courageous too.

  • Wow!! I never thought this was possible!! This is great!! Go on!! :)

  • And I thought I was good when I was picking up things with my feet. :(

  • The MOTIVATING is ALL! It's a good history!

  • fodastico!

  • Go girl!!

  • Fine, you got it all. :)

  • EXEMPLO DE SUPERAÇÃO E FORÇA.

Muito Bonito o que ela esta fazendo, provando para muntos que nada é impossivel quando se quer.

    Parabéns, Jessica!

  • i my god awesome how she open the window NICE

  • This is very MOTIVATING! I can imagine that for her to speak to children or adults that have lost a limb...or two...and inspire them to do whatever they want to do. It inspired me and I have all four limbs.

  • I call BS on this. This has gotta be some sort of camera trick, or they are using mirrors... How did she get OUT of the Kitchen?

  • Wow! She's flexible!

  • what do you think of a woman born helpless, but so courages that she does everything that others cant do with arms.

  • Awesome but i wouldnt want to be her passenger

  • The plane must be modified for rudder & ground-steering usage.

  • Makes a living as a motivational speaker?

    Ugh, that pisses me off.

  • Why are you posting this here?

  • Wow now that's awesome.

  • wow!!!!!

  • what a beast at life

  • shes pretty fine for a woman with no arms

  • Nice Vid :)

  • thats beautiful.. she is very inspiring... love dave

  • Hopefully she doesn't get a charlie horse

  • Very inspiring story. What a great woman :)

  • what if she gets a leg cramp

  • can she clean her ass nah just jokeing no sereusly

  • lol, comment of the day award goes 2 u xD

  • Kaizen.

  • I wonder what else she can "do" with her feet?

    heh heh...

  • Thats really amazing, good for her. I also like the shirt. But I have to wonder how she handles cross wind landings when you have to control the throttle, ailerons and rudder at the same time.

  • The Ercoupe lands crabbed. The gear is designed for it and handles the side loads. So no slip is required for a crosswind landing.

  • amazing

  • Boring! I figured she was gonna crash, or it was a follow up to that Onion video.

  • you know, when you advertise somebody flying a plane without arms, it is assumed something funny is going to happen. what the hell, man?

  • That was amazing, a really epic feat

  • She will do just fine in the Ercoupe, the aircraft was designed without the usual rudder pedals on the floor. Ground steering and rudder co-ordination is all combined at the control wheel.

  • I interviewed her on my show

  • wow

  • That's cool and all, but I don't think I would fly with her. Although I wouldn't tell her that, she would kick my ass. Amazing girl though, and kinda hot too.

  • omg amaizing girl she made something from nothing

  • koool !amazing.

  • I think she is very brave and amazing for doing all the things she does without arms. I think it is very unsafe to those on land and herself allowing her to fly a plane with her feet. Very dangerous and very inconciderate..

  • don't be an asshole

  • I understand your concern, as a pilot well over 10,000 hrs, several thousand as flight instructor, I assure you she can do it. She plays piano w/ her feet! The plane she flys requires no foot input to control, no pedals. Also she's bright. Dumb pilots w/ arms are unsafe. She knows her limits & fly's within. I trained many student pilots. She's HAS TO, meet FAA qualification standards for certification, no exception. She has limits, sure but is safe in those limits? She ROCKS in general aviation!

  • i as a flight instructor give her props. its amazing one can do when you try hard

  • I Have one arm and I can barely drive!!!

  • feets*

  • Dude, her plane is awesome.

  • that's awesome! i'd want to keep my feet really clean though

  • i had the same thought

  • ooooooohhhh ok I thought this was impossible... but she is flying an Ercoupe... so the rudder is slaved to the ailerons...

  • amazing

  • funny.

  • wowo great

  • Wow, that was amazing.

  • if they trusted her so much how come they didnt go flying with her lol but really that is amazing i give her a lot of credit

  • Who knows, could be insurance. Could be the reporter hates flying (he does seem a little skiddish in general from what I've seen); could be they wanted good camara angle, or she did fly him but didn't use the footage. She can fly the plane just fine. She's not a cocky pilot (like some pilots with arms can be). She'll picks days with out hurricane cross winds as she builds experience. Who wants to fly on those days anyway. I make my living flying & I have to fly, well to get paid at least.

  • wow i can barely put my contacts in with my hands

    amazing

  • how did she get her seat belt on?

  • Neurologists are working on robot arms, just a little patience and these people can be pro thumb-wrestlers

  • cool stuff! whats next on the list for her?

  • That piano smells!

  • I would totally tap that

  • Why in the world would she "need" artificial hands??? All they would accomplish is to make other people feel more comfortable. That's their problem, not her's.

  • ___ ___ '' O O L

    _________

  • Her stuff must stink of foot cheese, I'd hate to have to borrow her phone...
