  • The Bound and Spike cenobites kick ass! It doesn't make sense how Spike lives, but I don't care, he's awesome!

  • PETER ATKINS?!!!

  • This looks much much better than helraiser 5,6 7. The best hellraiser movies are 1 2 3 but the rest is fake. Hope there will come a franchise in 2012. I really enjoyed this movie hope you guys will make more larges movies

  • i wasn't expecting this to be worth watching, but iam glad i did,it was very good

  • I wouldn't mind seeing how the battle went :)

  • Great idea, and I like your cenobites, but I don't like how you chose anjelique over pinhead. anjelique was probably the lamest cenobyte, besides dischead and lenshead from hellraiser iii. Good character, but shitty cenobyte. Should've used pinhead.

  • spike looked awesome in this

  • great , make more

  • this movie sucks so bad i count take watching it.

  • Woohoo those costumes were wicked. I'm quite impressed. Having some better equipment would have brought this up to "commercial" quality. Good lighting can do wonders in covering up the lack of other resources. Angelique was a perfect choice and I'm glad you didn't make the mistake of trying to do Pinhead. Two thumbs up.

  • Where the hell is Pinhead? And even without him, Angelique is less than nothing compared to Butterball, never mind those other cenobites.

  • cool guys never sit on chairs they always lurk in the corner on the couch arms lol.

  • The nature of fan films are that the majority of them have low budgets but to see fans craft a film which crosses the Hellraiser mythology with that of The Prophecy films is unique and very interesting. Congrats.

  • the girl is such a bad actress, come one! the video is awesome, the acting is just mediocre.

  • That guy with the spike through his head - that´s just how I feel! :-)

  • where did you get the puzzle box..that was awesome!!!!! got to have me one :)..big hellraiser fan!

  • @nightelf2004 u and me both i want the hellraiser box too

  • You guys still did a great job especially on the Spike Cenobite

  • looks like you guys had lots of fun making this...

  • Apart from the obvious flaws stemming from an apparent low budget, you captured the feel of the movies very well. Kudos to you and good luck on future projects.

  • one of the cenobites sounds like an reatarded kid in a phone

  • well made :O -claps-

  • The acting is meh, but this a fan film so the acting doesn't really matter. The atmosphere created in some key scenes is great. This is not bad at all.

  • The first part got me excited but the last one had a bit too much talking in the end which made it anticlimatic..still nice work!

  • awesomeness! lol

  • nicely done

  • I have to applaud the commitment and ambition that went into this project. The idea/plot is actually an interesting one. The effects are what they are, this IS an amateur production. The weakest link is the acting. You can get away with almost anything if you have an actor that can sell it. Anyway, just wanted to offer my support. Welcome to Hell.

  • cenobites are nice, i missed they last 2 movies, they all from the previous films? or some of em new?

  • butterballs back (seriously that what the movie called him

  • makeup was way better than i expected really got into towards the end

  • SPIKE <3

  • oh dear me.

    that was confusing

  • think it was done great compared to most others on here two thumbs up

  • that was awesome. want to point out that the editing was amazing, loved the shots/cuts during dialogues and all that. only thing i think could have been improved without the need of money is instructing the actors to maybe slow their lines down a bit and accentuate their words.

5 stars for this, hope you see lots of success in the future.

  • this is pretty damn good, way better than my shit (your people have more motivation and better acting)

  • nice work

  • why does angelique have a bandage on her head :-S

  • Yeah, sorry about that... We had a pretty low budget, and the person who did the makeup was originally in Philadelphia while the actress was in New York, so when everyone finally came together that day to film, we did what we could with what we had... :)

  • Well, not bad! certainly atmosphere more ''real'' than in some sequels...but,there's NO ''lucifer'' as such in hellraiser mythology, the Leviathan is it's infernal majesty itself, and the only one!

so watch iiiit-have no other gods before It!

  • pretty damned awesome!

  • what's the name of the song that plays during the credits? p.s. great work!

  • Thank you! That's a song by Evanescence called "Lies (remix)"...

  • Not bad. Hell, I've seen much worse on some crazy ass B-rate DVDs. LoL.

I'd love to see what you could do with a good sized budget, seasoned professionals, and such.

  • good like it shame no pinhead or chatterer lol

  • What's the song from the credits? that was kinda cool.

  • Thanks for the interest... That's a song by Evanescence called "Lies (remix)"...

  • I wonder the same thing, why nno Pinhead? My guess however is that Pinhead is just too iconic, and they did'nt wish to cheapen that iconic status by having some strange guy play Pinhead, maybe. Also, maybe they could'nt get the rights to do so.

I think that would make a good vovie though, just think- Pinhead Vs Satan/Lucifer. What a great concept, lol!

Anyways, not badly done. Coulda been better, but for fan-fiction, not bad.

  • I think this was a very good movie (at the risk of sounding like everyone else), considering what you had to work with. I have made 2 short films myself (found on my page here) and one is ALSO a homage to a horror/sci-fi movie, Plan 9 From Outer Space. And eveyone who is giving this guy grief, please cut him some slack. Those who decide to make fan films MUST work with what they have, money, actor, props, etc. So Kudos to you sir for making an awesome movie, I' looking forward to the next one.

  • aaaaah angelique.

    ....i seriously need help lol

  • whats hellraiser without pinhead??? and they had angelic and leviathan.. thats lame. i didnt like the story line at all.

  • of course as these terrible films start being made by fans, the women get gaudier looking and more blonde. at least clive barker had good taste in actors.

  • butterball bound angeltique and whatever the hell the third one was

  • Spike. he was cut from Hellraiser VII. too bad, too. he looks cool (I heard he was 7 or 10 feet tall.)

  • Well the 2nd half is much better than the 1st half. The Cenobites were great. Kudos to the one who made the costumes.

Some of the acting wasn't that great (but it is a fan film, so it's excusable) however some of it was pretty good actually, mainly the cenobites and Lucifer.

I enjoyed it. Nice blend of 2 great movie franchises. Good job!

  • Satan was not evil sounding enough and I could have done a better job.Her eyes should have been black with contacts. They need to get more into the feel of the demonic and let it come forth

  • Awsome, the only thing was there was no Pinhead? Why without Pinhead its not really Hellraiser, never the less extremely impressive!

  • The effects were great. The film was well written. The acting was decent for nonactors. All and all it was a decent fan film.

  • Oh dude... Great film, but no Pinhead? I was waiting for him to appear in the last scene... lol

  • Honestly surprised that Dimension didn't do this. I guess the closest we'll ever get to see a Heaven Vs. Hell battle will probably be that SOUTH PARK episode from a while back.

  • I have a Terrible Need to see angels ripped apart by chains...I feel a little disappointed, but overall the concept and direction was solid.

  • the acting the acting cmon guys these are normal joes like you and me making a tribute film i couldnt do any better and neither can any of you so stop with how bad the acting is is was a great movie i thought 5 stars good work

  • Is there a porn content on this dvd?

  • CENOBITA TRAVESTI

  • Is there a script or dialogue out there? I can barely understand Angelique.

  • Welcome back! The DVD has subtitles in several languages, in the meantime I'll see what I can do to get her lines out on the web somewhere. Sorry about that, Monica has a heavy Italian accent to begin with, and we didn't have a sound person to record the dialog a little more clearly before processing... :P

  • Was the cenobite with the big drill bit through his head an original creation, or was he in one of the Hellraiser movies? I've only gotten to see the first 4 films. I've heard the rest were really bad, but I still want to see them because I still loe the franchise. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, lol

  • Greetings, you can find "Spike" from in the deleted scenes of HR7 on the DVD. It was created by Gary Tunnicliffe for the film, but was sadly deleted out. Spike was purportedly inspired by an image from one of the nightmare flashes from EVENT HORIZON, the Paul WS Anderson film...

  • haha Penis through his head damn it man... waht a tortureeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Aww shit yeah! That IS something to think about. Who would win between Lucifer and Leviathan. I'm gonna put my chips on Lucifer though. He was created before there was a such thing as pain and his rebellion before there was man. He may have just been around longer to experience every type of suffering there is.

  • Wheres the man? Wheres the leader? The one that gave this movie its name?

    Wheres PinHead?

  • @ratedr739 - From the official website: "The Hellraiser mythos goes much father than just Pinhead, but rather extends out to encompass Leviathan and the entire army of Cenobites. Pinhead is but one Cenobite. This film features four of the others as previously seen in the films... Anybody cast as Pinhead will have comparisons made to Doug Bradley. Doug Bradley performs the archetypal Pinhead, and nobody that I would be able to find could have come close to his performance."

  • you know that pinhead isnt the leader of the cenobites in the book

  • Whaddya mean "gives the movie it's name"? Whether or not Pinhead is the cenobite summoned, hell is still being raised when someone opens the box.

  • Nice job Jonathan. Hellraiser is one of my favorites and to see old friends and familiar places in it is just awesome. I really liked the costumes and I thought the editing was really great. The story was fun and the camera work was really good too. Some of the acting, especially the conversation in the very first scene in the library could have been done better but overall the acting improved dramatically towards the end. (How come Lori didn't get ripped apart with the chains? ) -ashkan

  • (Is this Ashkan from CSHL?) Hey Ashkan, thanks for the kind review... :) We didn't rip Lori apart mainly because I had no idea how to do it... :) We didn't have anybody who knew how to do visual effects; we just had me struggling to learn the most basic fxns of Adobe Aftereffects... :)

  • WTF? That was crap if there is no Pinhead. Good effects though.

  • Ave!

And I order this "Hellraiser" Fan Movie:

"Hellraiser: Prophecy" last Year on DVD.

    I like it very much.

It's created with a (Hellbound) Heart

inside all of the People who made this very good "Hellraiser" Fan Film.

    FIW

    FUNERAL MASTER P. H.

    - Funeral Twilight Videography

  • @ Funeral Twilight - Thanks for the enthusiastic support!

  • lma omg pinheads been replaced by a gay goth, why u do that. pinhead should've been the leader. not that gayboy.

  • @ Tracefan89 - A discerning fan like yourself should recognize Angelique from Hellraiser: Bloodline, the fourth film in the series. If you watch that, you'll see who she is...

  • where did you guys get that box to where it moves i have benn looking for one of those

  • @hitmanlover - There's a guy named kevfla who builds them and sells them on his site and through eBay... Try googling "hellraiser puzzle box sales gallery" Good luck! (Keep in mind, the movable ones are very expensive...)

  • You've probably been asked this... But. . . I haven't seen an answer to it. For the Lament Configuration, what is that melody called and where did you find it? The puzzle box melody is haunting. xD

  • @Phoebus3309 - That's "Seduction and Pursuit" by HR1 score composer Christopher Young... iTunes, I'm sure, and the score is likely still available on CD... Crescendo Records, if I remember correctly... Cheers...

  • cool

  • I think it was great for a fan movie. None of them are actors so I didnt expect that to be great. I think it was smart to not have pinhead in it cause people woul definatley gripe if he wasnt perfect. and angelique is my favorite anyway. if pinhead ever took a day off i think she'd be the best fill in lol. awesome butterball too, he looked geat!

  • Hey, that was pretty cool!! I apologize for my acting/porno comment in scene 1.

  • Where'd you get that Lament Configuration prop?

  • Nicely done mate, It's easy for people to snipe even though they haven't the courage to try it themselves. I hope your planning to make more, as i (like many others i'm sure) would like to find out what happens next...

  • cnt hear what the main girl cenobite w/e is saying clearly, but this is stil good...

  • fucking awesome

  • the lady that comes in the room last and starts talking is not scary at all..where the fuk is the Pinhead?!?!?!

  • that was good!!..=) ....is this the 9th installment of the Hellraiser series???...

  • I must admit you guys did a great job recreating the hellraiser series.

  • looks very fake.... -.-

  • All I gotta say is good story, bad acting, and no Pinhead whats up with that?

Hellraiser: Prophecy get 3 out of 5

  • great choice of cenobites to feature in this film! Butterball, Spike, Bound & Angelique. too bad, Pinhead wasnt seen in the movie!

  • jonathan kui! your the man! awesome job! you inspire me.how i wish i could do a short horror movie with the local models im handling here in a small city of philippines. they're my friends so, no talent fee involved. also, im asking help from my friends who graduated from film school. they're willing to help. done the story, but im finishing on the script now. wish i could do a good job just like you did.

  • I know this is all water under the bridge, and by now you're on to bigger and better things, but I just wanted to say that I loved where it was going. The one thing that made me stop it half way was the acting. Everything else was dead on though.

  • Hilarious! Good stuff. The only comment running through my head in part 1 was "I...AM...PAIN! ...(at your local library.)"

  • Muy bien para ser Fan

    Me gusto muchio

    ^__^

  • the square box really exist??

  • I wonder if they will make another... I did like the guy who played Lucifer.

  • OMG how did u manage to get hold of a puzzle box

ive been wanting one for ages

  • this was prolly better than that piece of shit Hellraiser: Hellworld. although anyone with cancer might be pissed they spent precious life time on this

  • liked the story but the blond seriously couldnt act!!!

her sister was better she should have had the lead part

  • Whats the music from 9:12 to 10:08?????

    Must know.

  • That is the song "Lies" by Evanescence, specifically the version found on their "Origin" album... (There's two versions out there)... Cheers!

  • Thanks for the reply.

  • I really liked the story, use of sound/lighting (loved the shimmering effect on the door and the voice "warble"), liked the decision to use the original score rather than original music.

Did not care for the acting. Seriously - Angelique literally calls him "Lucyfur" at one point.

    Liked it overall though!

  • Actually, this wasn't bad at all. Good work. Good effort, certainly!

  • Not bad. Intriguingly weird crossover idea, and the stolen music from Lord of Illusions helps a lot (won't hold it against you, I promise), but I wish you'd either worked more with your actors or gotten better ones... and also that you had resisted the temptation for a cheap jolt (the security guard grabbing the gal).

Perhaps you will tell me to see if I can do better like you did that other guy. Well, I can always send you one of my own original scripts which shows I might be able to do so :-)

  • Thanks for the feedback! I agree; I was too inexperienced (and still may be) and my fellow biologist friends did the best acting they could. I am learning though; for HR DEADER: WINTER'S LAMENT we had a trained cinematographer, gaffer and actors, and I believe it will be stronger than this, my fledgling attempt. :)

And yes, I absoLUTEly recommend you forward and make your film; there's no feeling like seeing your ideas manifested visually! I wish you the very best in your efforts!

  • You're welcome, man. _Hellraiser: Prophecy_ isn't great, but making shorts to gain experience is a good idea for any n00b filmmaker.

Believe me, if I wasn't so busy right now with professional commitments, I'd probably be making a film of my own. After all, you're not gonna be much of an artist if you don't eat :-)

  • (Btw, "that other guy," macvillain24, was just being a troll. I have no problems with constructive and thoughtful criticism, indeed I encourage it! How else would I learn to do better? It's the DISMISSIVE criticism, the insults for insults' sake, that I find droll. People who leave cruel comments, without ever trying to make or learn what it takes to make a film of any level, are being spiteful just because they can. Wishing someone dead because you don't like their free fanfilm is ludicrous.)

  • YouTube is stuffed to the gills with ludicrous people. Didja see that vid which is the Fox News report on that old lady who wouldn't give Halloween candy to kids who supported Obama? Some joker actually posted the lady's name, home address, and phone number in the comments section. Jesus, *some* people!

  • Good fan film.

  • It feels like a low budget porn movie :(

    Stop making these plz!

  • You're right! I shouldn't try to learn and improve, I should just give up after the first try because you said so... Thank goodness you spoke up when you did! I'm going to go and cancel my other projects immediately!

  • Bad story. Bad acting.

  • I'm sorry you didn't like the story... As to the acting, these biologists did the best they could. This was definitely a learning experience for all of us, and we hope to do better in the future...

  • well kinda of sort hope they make a second part finishing what they started but on the other hand what i have seen so far is great

  • this video was the most crap ive ever wached thank you for wasting my time this so called video was so terible you killed hellraiser with this cheasy ass video....it's as you got your actors from a porn...serious dude they cant act for shit i hope you die for this disgrace to hellraiser

  • I usually don't post asinine comments by ignorant users, but this one made me smile. :) 1) First off, you shouldn't have watched Part 2, if you didn't like Part 1, nor should you have spent even more time commenting, so YOU wasted your time, not ME. :) 2) Our actors weren't from porn, they were biologists. 3) This "disgrace to Hellraiser" was enjoyed for what it was by Clive Barker and was the first film to reference Leviathan since HR2. 4) When you get off your ass & do better, let me know.

  • Good Movie!!! ^^!!! Make More !!!

  • captivating, but lacking. you need an ending

  • do they really sell those puzzle boxes???

  • There are a few artisans who make them as a side job... Not sure how many are still around, but the most widely advertised seller these days is at hellraiserpuzzlebox dotcom.

  • thanks :D

  • As for the movie itself I'd have to rate it a 3 out of 5. It's mostly about the costumes of the Cenobites, really. They need a little work, especially Butterball's. The mask and makeup looked a bit hasty. Needed more blood. The camera work's actually pretty good for an amateur work. Looks kind of artsy/Blair Witch style. This can be good or bad. And what's the name of the Cenobite with the pointy fencepost going through his face?

  • That would be Spike... Spike was originally a Cenobite from the deleted scenes of HR: DEADER (check the DVD) that I tried to bring back in this fan film... Cheers...

  • When did Angelique pick up an accent?

She's got a strange Eastern European-sounding accent that she didn't have in part 1.

  • Part 1? Angelique wasn't in part 1 of HRP, but she was in HR: BLOODLINE... The actress who played her in HRP is actually Italian. The actress who played her in BLOODLINE is actually Chilean, but her lines were dubbed over. The original character in BLOODLINE was a European prostitute (French, possibly)...

  • I don't remember if it was part 1 or earlier in part 2. It seems the actress was trying to suppress her accent in her first few lines.

  • You're probably thinking of the Female Cenobite (that's the only name given to her so far), who has a wound in her throat that is stretched open by wires. Angelique is in the fourth movie, Hellraiser: Bloodline.

  • Great fan film! You did a great job with the effects. Have you made any other fan films?

  • Not yet, but we're currently working on a fan film prequel to HR7 called HELLRAISER: DEADER - WINTER'S LAMENT (2009) which will tie in to events from HR4 and HRP... Cheers!

  • i don't mean to be rude but the girl person had a really bad costume

  • alxfeld - the girl person?

    WELL NO SHIT. XDDD

  • Biggest load of fan made shit I have ever seen,

the acting is a fucking joke, whats with the Butterball $10.00 Halloween mask and the dude dude with octopus tentacles in his head.

    Total Shite.

  • Well said, sir! And when you've actually done something better, perhaps you can teach me a thing or two. :D

  • Awesome JOB! Fuck teh haters!

This is sweet for a fan vid, mate!

    Long Live the Lamentation Configuration!

  • Fuck you, nefhead, ya droog.

Put shit up or shut the fuck up.

  • nefhead.

    Die.

  • awesome job

i'm a die hard fan of HELLRAISER

i have all but 2 of the dvds

and now i have too buy the movies you made cause they r great

the actors r awesome, the effects r ok considering the budget but other than that the movie is awesome also i loved the Prophecy movies with Christoper Walken so u combined them well...... keep up the good work

  • Nice little twist at the end there with Lucifer. Despite some hardcore HR fans protests, I once thought that a Prophecy crossover was natural for Dimension to do. Especially after the whole Helloween thing fell through.

  • I would never solve that box, even if I seen it get made in a factory hand made proving not made from hell or something.

Im still paranoid of it rofl. That hot blonde chick gots some guts.

  • I dunno if my last comment made it or not but I liked the costumes I mean they were killer not having a real budget or any studio help. I mean seriously that girl who did them should be like I dunno making actual costumes for studio films she kicks ass. Not too big on the main demons hair being seen but still good nonetheless. Alot of work went into this and I applaud you for that. Just I dunno step up the acting a notch its like watching days of our lives. Kinda reminded me of Buffy.

  • That PiNHaed looks like Jabba de Hut !

  • ...? Pinhead's not in this film...

  • Really nice fan film. Congratulations to all the team :)

  • A Hellraiser movie with out Pinhead? Hmmmm...

  • From the website FAQ: "this film is intended for die-hard fans of the Hellraiser series, including its films, literature and especially the comics. The Hellraiser mythos goes much father than just Pinhead, but rather extends out to encompass Leviathan and the entire army of Cenobites. Pinhead is but one Cenobite. This film features four of the others as previously seen in the films." Again, though, we will have Pinhead in our next fan film HR: WINTER'S LAMENT becaues the backstory warrants it.

  • Good luck with that..´I think this is a great horror-movie. I'm also working on a horror movie, almost done with script.

I Think if they ever are gonna make a new Hellraiser movie 8 or 9 or how many there now are, I think they should call you!!!

  • awsonomus (REALLY FUCKING AWSOME!!!)

but what of Lucifer? what is to happin to his human form

  • She's doing it wrong, when summoning them up from wherever they may be, it'd best to offer them your fresh urine and at least 2 dozen fresh dove heads.

  • It was still a kick ass film :D we need creatures like the cenobites to clean up this world

  • From the website's "Story" link: "The Hellraiser mythos goes much father than just Pinhead... This film features four of the other [Cenobites] as previously seen in the films ...anybody cast as Pinhead will have comparisons made to Doug Bradley ...nobody that I would be able to find could have come close to his performance."

That being said, I've relented in the past two years; our next fan film has Pinhead, but not doing anything you haven't seen before. Literally.

  • No Pinhead?

  • For a fan based film,I've got to say this is pretty fucking awesome. I am a complete horror nut, and at the age f a bout 6 i was watching films like hellraiser andthe exorcist. Good job to all of you.

  • It's a bit studenty.. and prosthetically displeasing..

  • I think that some more work need to be done with Angelique. She was a sexy dominatrice whose ferocity and sexual appeal did not subside even after her becoming a cenobite.

  • I liked the Spikehead Cenobite.

  • Pretty damn good for a movie on a budget. The only thing that really bothered me was the acting - mainly that of the Cenobites. It just seems like the woman playing the "lead" Cenobite overacted a little bit. I did, however, like how you handled the whole situation - it must not have been easy to pull of the look of the Cenos as well as you did, so, props for that. After this experience, I'm sure everyone has grown with the experience and I for one would love to see another take on this. Bravo

  • I agree, the acting seemed a little strained. Other than that I think It was very good.

  • This is a really good fan movie, especially having in mind the fact that they were limited by so many factors...

But wow...that blonde has absolutely no talent...such bad acting

    Quoting Stewie from FG:

"Lady only here cuz she humpin' director!!"

  • This was fucking awsome...BUT I WANA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS LOL

  • wat the hel?? effects goodish,,, acting terrible,, cenobites dont fuckin smile

  • I'd respectfully recommend that you re-watch Hellraiser 2, 3 and 4, as Pinhead doesn't just fuckin smile, he outright laughs in each. (He may also laugh in the other films, but that was just off the top of my head.)

  • of course they smile, they lords of forbidden pleasure

  • That was pretty good, considering you had so many limits! :D

  • This is so DAMN good, especially with camera and other limitations you had to work with. 5/5

  • You did a wonderful job on this.

  • This blew me away. Everyone did a fantastic job. Keep up the amazing work in your future films. I'll be on the lookout!

  • shame the whole this looks incredibly amaturish. the original Hellraiser probably didnt have much more work put into it and the latter 2 movies definitely didnt. They could have made the whole things looked proper if theyd used a wide angle lens instead of a fecking camcorders regular lens i mean like theyr 30 quid or something, if your going to all that effort you could have put a little more into it...

  • Biology students generally don't have camcorders lying around that support changing lenses. This was our first attempt at a film, and all we could afford were fecking home camcorders, not even prosumer ones. The original Hellraiser had 5 producers, a film studio and over 100 crew according to IMDB. We had about a dozen biology students, my credit card and zero experience. So a little perspective might be in order here. Sorry your free entertainment was so disappointing. Yours will be better.

  • It's pretty good, I realize there are a lot of limitations when it comes to making a fanfilm, but I have one complaint.. the actress playing the female cenobite is way too.. fidgety. She's always moving.. like any average human would when they're talking or just standing around. It kindof takes away from the presence imo. I think a cenobite should be more graceful.

  • Brilliant! I've heard so much about this and it's definately worth the watch! :)

  • Considering that no new Hellraiser film has been released in the UK since 2002's Inferno, I'm overjoyed to find this excellent fan film. Keep up the good work, I can't wait for Winter's Lament!
