we KNOW there is a 3rd person as well as another light source (either the sun light or a light in the distant room.. Why is it that so many people want to assume it is a ghost? when a shadow of another person is MUCH more likely?

I would say one of the top rules for any real paranormal investigator is to assume the normal. even if ghosts are real... the fact that they are rare tells me MOST of the time 'weird' experiences have a mundane explanation.
