A good expensive acoustic grand that is well maintained will sound better than a DP but in the $3000-ish price range like this the CLP-280 will beat any acoustic that can be bought for the same price, even slightly more. The audio on this recording is bad, you can also find plenty of great acoustics that sound bad just because of the audio recording, listen to this one of the same instrument (CLP-280) and hear the difference:

You really shouldn't judge sound quality of an instrument based on a YouTube video that was recorded from a handheld camcorder. =P
