Then why does virtually every religious text in existence immediatly check followers of all other religions to hell? Islam does not respect other religions, nor does Christianity. That would be like saying the Catholic church needed to treat all religions as equally true. Whereas the BBC HAS to be impartial - it's one of its rules. Get someone in a room, call them mad, or afraid of God, or hiding something - and then when they get pissed off, use that as 'evidence' of guilt. You might as well just say that 'denial is guilt'. See how easy it is to become the thing you set out to criticise?

Then why does virtually every religious text in existence immediatly check followers of all other religions to hell? Islam does not respect other religions, nor does Christianity. Buddhism does, Jainism does, but to utter such a blanket statement for ALL religions is simply untrue, even the most fleeting glance at history will tell you otherwise. That, or simply reading religious scipture.

Christianity is founded on fact. The bible is God's word revealed by many prophets etc. The New Testament is a factual collection of first hand witnesses.

@Hlieyto The problem there is that Scientology, like any group, religion, political party, etc. de facto can not 'be' impartial - nor do they have to be. That would be like saying the Catholic church needed to treat all religions as equally true. Whereas the BBC HAS to be impartial - it's one of its rules. Actually, it often presents material in ways that people say are biased - and as a State organisation, most people expect it to be biased in some way - even though it shouldn't be.
