Yes, I can transcribe a "song" - I'm conservatory trained. I don't know what you mean by melody triggers.

what's your prolobe lvl may I ask? I agree neat party trick.

@maestroanth I'm now at level 26, but I'm not doing any more prolobe until I get better synthesized sounds. The Java sound synth is not working for me, I get the weirdest unnatural sounds which do not correspond to anything I hear on a real acoustic piano, so that's that for prolobe.

You look pretty good, All prolobe would do is objectify your ear on out. Can you hear any pitch from any sound? Those strike me the most than w/e they call 'natural' instrument.

I hear the notes regardless of timbre or instrument, synthesized or whatever - if it has a pitch then I hear it. I understand from some comments on various websites that some people listen to overtones to figure out the note - I don't do that, I just know it automatically. Anyway, who cares about AP? I'm glad to have it, because I was trained as a classical pianist and it is amazingly useful, but that said I have to say I feel sorry for those people who obsess about it.

@maestroanth I just have it b/c it's interesting, for ppl who don't know music, let them envy. RP is interesting. I really passed my hard ass courses on luck IMO.
