The correct advice should be... "if you see a stray dog kids, stay the fuck away from it!"
I'd like to know where she landed her invisible jet in the first two.
"Hi, I spotted you two from my jet. I wanted to complement you on your safety sense. So I landed at the airport, then took a cab to get here. Traffic must be really bad in this town if it took you that long to cross the street."

Years later, GI Joe safety tip says the opposite of what Wonder Woman said.

The first safety tip would had been more effective if the producers had shown what can happen when people cross in the middle of the street instead of the crosswalk As the mother and her son are crossing the street, a truck is bearing down on them and the driver cannot stop in time. Luckily for them, Wonder Woman shows up and is able to stop the truck before it's too late. The mother and her son promise Wonder Woman that from now on they will always use the crosswalk when crossing the street.

I remember the dog one very well. In retrospect, although the "let the dog sniff your hand" advice is true, I'm not so sure if it's good to teach a child that. That may encourage them to approach unknown dogs. That's advice more suited for an adult, IMO. But hey, what do I know?
Well Lynda Carter didn't. WW uses that lasso to do everything, drill holes, swing, etc..Lynda Carter actually punched villians, or twirled her tiara to knock out villians.
