@karenbcz22 hi karen - that's happend to me to. to be honest since the youtube function update earlier this year, the whole comments/subscription system has become difficult and unreliable, comments i leave on other user's channels also rarely stay there or get posted, then there's the 'error' messages and the fact that replies to comments in a thread do not attach to said comment but are included i an new paragraph break, making it near impossible for an observer to keep track of debates made.

What a Joke. This excerpt from Bloomberg today by Obama makes it clear. BP has Zero intention of completely cutting off the well. They will continue to collect oil to sell for profit

Also, my partner and I were just looking at the live feed again. We both saw what looked like clouds of oil coming up from around the bottom of the BoP. Dark clouds billowing out all over the place.

Here's something suspicious-- I was watching the live feed just 15 minutes before they stopped the oil from gushing. But the bizarre thing is, it was gushing at full force then suddenly, within minutes, they had it stopped dead. This not only makes no sense, it's in complete contradiction to what Thad Allen said: that they were going to close the valves VERY VERY gradually. So many things aren't making sense here. Also, the way Obama wouldn't talk about it when he came out to speak...

GUYS ~ They "stopped the oil" only TEMPORARILY as they take PSI readings which MUST stay up near 8,000 - 9,000 PSI. If the pressure falls over the time of the "testing/measurement" phase it will indicate that the interior of the well is compromised - only God know where - and will mean that the oil is leaking out of the side of the well. According to Simmons we already KNOW the oil is doing just that. Any BP claims that pressure is holding should be met with intense skepticism. - SGT

Time will tell if Matt Simmons was shorting BP stock as he touted that it was going to zero. Maybe Matt just hates BP for personal reasons and didn't short their stock. The well is sealed. Pressure tests will determine if the well casing has degraded to the point where the oil/gas can escape. BP can resume processing the oil/gas if any major leaks are identified. The cleanup has failed to date.

I tried to follow this oil disaster as close as possible, and from what I understood there was a much bigger leak about 10 miles away from the BOP. Did anybody hear something to the contrary? If that is true than my guess is they just shut down the actual well to take the pressure of BP, but the problem persist. Of course any leaks away from the BP well would technically not be their fault or responsibility!

There is also the possibility that Simmons and williams are just full of crap!
