Nice video. Well made. But it doesnt fit Firefly. Firefly is all about the western-feel. The music doesnt fit (way too modern to me) and the text: same thing.

But: the pace is right (music and video), the way the castnames appear plus the timing is awesome.

Did you ever see the old Airwolf-series? This same idea would just be perfect for that. For that series is all about hightech.

The whole idea of the original intro was to give it an old western flavour. The umph is good... but a space western it will always be. I understand your need for something new though. I have myself written 2 full episodes and I have outlines for 4 more! My thurst for more Firefly is unquenchable! But, like thousands of other fans my work will never see the light of day. I'm glad your did!

First of all, this is way too long. Anything longer than a minute will become more annoying by each episode. The music doesn't fit the show at ALL. I agree the original was a bit cheesy, but I actually grew to like it in the end. This is just too noisy and flashy. Other than that, the editing is great, you picked some good scenes (Wash playing with dinosaurs :D). Nice try :)
