  • lol that was clinical. Hughes pushes in, Horn pushes right back and gets hip tossed. Matt's an animal.

  • I worked your mom last night.

  • I worked your mom last night.l=\

  • wrestlers use brazilian jiu jitsu moves to win fights then they say "no, i'm not a BJJ fighter.....i am a wrestler" go figure.

  • @judgerofwars Because wrestling is what they use to achieve those positions. Hughes uses wrestling techniques to transition to the final submission. From hand/arm control to the suplex takedown, then into side and head control into a top upper body mount (all wrestling). The only jiu jitsu you see is probably the full guard he takes at the end and the choke. Wrestlers generally don't use submissions, but jiu jitsu artists don't have much of the other ground techniques that wrestlers do.

  • @Lostarts1 Regardless of the style of jiu-jitsu a person is taking, if they haven't been working on positions and transitions, then their instructor(s) suck.

  • what a throw

  • Hughes is such a sav!

  • Badass throw

  • U can see the setup for the throw when I think it's horn who taps his chest as a sign to throw :p

  • i always heard this was a work but because matt and jeremy agreed with matts wrestling he had the better chance to win the whole tournament.

  • beautiful takedown

  • I got a girl to undress on webcam over at tiny[.]cc/freesex535

  • can you say WORK!

  • anyone that disagrees that this isnt a work needs to get educated. its well documented that it is. i hardly ever use this word, but my god there sure are a lot of noobs on here.

  • If you read Hughes' autobiography, it says this WAS a work, and you can clearly see it. Horn would NEVER actually

  • Dude, this shit was a work. They wanted to win fasted submission of the night and split the prize money.

  • Are you kids aware that Horn and Hughes WEREN'T on the same team during this grappling tourney...Horn was part of Grady Jacksons gym and hughes was just breaking into what is now known as MFS elite

  • who doesnt know that it was a work? Halfbreed is 100% right... no disputing that

  • Then, going back to your first reply, if jeremy horn was a way better grappler, then why would they set it up for matt to win, and i've met some people who train for abu dhabi, and i dont think it works that way truthfully. In fact I jsut got done training with the winner of this years female absolute division winner, annette stakk. Sick wrestler.

  • The wrok was between Matt at Horn themselves. That's why they're both banned for life. Read Matt's book.

  • @kurtvon What do you mean? That sounds interesting.

  • @kurtvon not to call you a liar, but are you serious? How'd they get caught? If this is true, i take back my immediate reaction to the throw.

  • what does that have to do with my comment at all. I was just contesting taht i didnt think the fight was staged. I didnt say anything about ne being better than the other. Plus if he staged the fight and lost on purpose then hes not a good grappler, hes a tool. Trust me it was legit.

  • This fight was a WELL KNOWN WORK! The event had a prize for quickest submission. Horn and Hughes were training together and they threw the bout to win the prize. Know your grappling history NOOBS.

  • go matt did you see that takedown and yes it was a chock anyone would tap from that

  • matt hughes shitty.. BJ PENN all the way

  • no shit im pretty sure he's already a legend in the UFC for beating gracie

  • wtf are you talking about, horn beat chuck liddell

  • are you kidding me? Not an mma fighter? Your and idiot!

  • This was worked. ADCC Didn't give them the prize money and they banned them forever from competing <-FACT.

  • Exactly.

  • i'm with mow...Horn had BOTH hands free, and neither one was over Matt's shoulder trying to work the escape. there isn't a blue belt in North America that doesn't know that escape, let alone an ADCC competitor.

  • The fight was a work. They wanted to get the "fast submission award" which was a nice bonus, not to mention they are were teammates.

  • damn. Hughes was craft thier. Horn tapped real fast, man. He didn't hold out very last in that choke.

  • horn sucks

  • anyone can make a mistake like that but it did look suss. I dont know..

  • It was a good scramble, not staged. All it takes is one mistake. Matt Hughes and Jeremy Horn aren't going to sacrifice there integrity as fighters for a miniscule prize. They are two great fighters that have enough money. They don't need chump change from a fastest win category.

  • You're an idiot if you think Jeremy Horn could be that easily guillotined..

  • lol, wellthat sht looked pretty damn real then

  • yah right how the fuck do you know it was worked?

  • it was a worked fight. they split the money for fastest sub in half.

  • I don't care what anyone thinks, that throw was devastating lol.

  • You think? Matt Hughes has been quoted as saying that Jeremy Horn taught him everything he knows about submissions, so maybe I believe it was staged.

  • this match was faked by them in an attempt to win the fastest submission prize money

  • holy shit i never seen this, matts jiujitsu is pretty nasty

  • lol no it isnt

  • lol yes it is
