I love John's emotion touching guitar solos, flea's cool bass rhythm, Chad's beats and Keidis's lyrics (and singing although in the video he doesn't sound like he is singing well but thats coz a live perfomance is very difficult) LOVE RHCP!

But even back in the 90's, I've heard some good performances of "Under the Bridge"... so I know he had the ability to sound decent live... but usually he sounded like shit for some reason.

Waclosh you just ain't feeling the real vibes. You like the cd version because you're someone who needs fabricated music only..Without flaws or live improv.. Go listen to the black eyed peas or something... This is quite frankly beautiful. Frusciantes solo and fleas little bass fill after are wonderful. Keidis's singing is great and not auto tuned. The way a live variation should be .

A good vocalist sould be able to sing at a gig without any help of electronic effects.For me, the band did not do a good job.This guy manages to sing only one prase correctly.And I do insist the guitar is out of tempo from the first to the last note played.At the beginning you can hear the drummer trying to re-sync with him, but then he just gives up (I would too). If you can not hear it, you are a happy person,you can listen to anything and love it.

I really was trying to feel the vibes-but their performance makes it impossible. Try and listen to for example Phil Collins, Depeche Mode, or even RATM.Definitely not my favorites, but all of them could go live without screwing up the first XY notes in EVERY phrase. We agree on the point, that the CDversion is polished. But I disagree that the fact, that they are playing live should be considered an apology for screwing up big time.They have been a band for 25+yrs omg, this is their job.

Well, since rhcp could never play live, it is not real music. Their cd music is a result of excessive effort of producers and studio engineers and the band can not achieve even a slightly similar sound live. The singer is out of tune all the time, the guitar solos are all a bit too shallow and the guitar player gets in and out of sync every now and then... only the drummer is ok. The rest of them are useless amateurs in a live show. Their albums are great, I love their music...
