This is the BEST Game whole ever about soccer ! Mega skill were needed to play as pro, superb idea, many options to choose , Fifa and Pro Ewo, :/

great update to kick off by anco.swos did have a better feel to it but the rivalary between the two formats kept pushing the boundaries now we have fifa and pes doing the same great for us guys. some nice play on the vid

yeah you are right when you say "arguably" the best game ever - because Kick Off 2 was! LOL!!!

But I remember Sensible Soccer coming out when the players were oranges and pineapples!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

@bilalnumber7 I agree, I think Goal! was slower than Kick Off 2, but I also thought it was more realistic (for back then). I remember taking a sickie off work the day Goal! was released so I could be at home playing it. I think it was probably the most addictive game ever on the Amiga. That's not to disrespect Kick Off 2, because that was an awesome game for its time (even the bastard ref S. Screech was loveable!) I had so many floppy discs full of replays and goals. Those were the days :(

I know I suck at SWOS but I always hated to play to the bottom goal...I just can't. I don't know if you also have this kind of feeling . It 's so much easier for me to score attacking the top goal

yes, i have the same way of playing, maybe because at the second part, controls are in "reverse" :)

yeah exactly! That is why when GOAL! came out (after Kick Off 2) it eliminated that issue cos you could play from side-to-side. But I always used to play shooting DOWN in the first half so that by the second half I could enjoy it!!

Whilst I wasn't so keen on the later SWOS, Kick Off 2 was OK but Sensible was light years ahead.

Not just my opinion either, that was the general consensus amongst Amiga owners.

in my opinion, i think kick off 2 is a "soccer simulator" and swos is near of arcade, more funny and playable than kickoff2

Must say I would have kicked any of the two playing this matches arse.

Magic.16 of us used to go to my m8s for our leagues.Got stoned & played every sunday on 2 amiga 1200's for about 14 hours.We all had tactics disks as well.

lol,In fairness Kick Off 2 was great craic, and the modern football games would do well to borrow some elements from both - but this is the mighty Sensi we are talking about here. All hail the mighty Sensi.

Hahahah mate Kick Off 2 was a million times more playable. I had both games and played the death out of both of them, Kick Off 2 was far superior in playability and the speed of the game. It was harder to play which is why so many people that liked Sensi pisses on it, Sensi was easier to play and needed less skill. Kick Off was the best football game I've ever played on a computer, even to this day!!

Most playable soccer game ever? I played stuff on my nephews PS2, and nothing comes close to sensible soccer. Its all fancy graphics but crap play
