D is awesome, Vampire hunter D is epic, the novels more so, but i'd say this is one of the better Anime Movies i've seen.Didn't like the manga. Just wish they'd make another.

hellsing is a good vampire anime but its a little over the top i mean it gets boring cus no one can ever come close to killing alucard. in the vampire hunter d movies he does get injured alot and makes you think he will die. dont get me wrong i like both alot but vampire d always had that element of actual battles that could go either way alucard you know hes gonna win and it does get boring after a while.

If im not mistaken it was one of the first anime vampire movie/series to be made. This really should be how vampires are portrayed imo.

@evilbenbiga That's definitely true. I think Alucard stands up to D or Link as a character, but other than him, Hellsing is just garbage. The castle in this movie is just insanely cool. (Everything about it is.)
