@excessaccess This is wierd you seem to have 2 different versions of the same thing up? There seems to be no continuity between each part. I'm at a loss, What is going on?
@meloveyou38 this coming from a someone who knows nothing of music ,because if you did, you wouldn't say something as ignorant and moronic as that..if you're talking about the movie itself, then maybe ..yes,it wasn't the most creative movie , but you have to remember that the Beatles were musicians, not film makers ! but don't even dare say that magical mystery tour music was awful..if that's what you are in fact implying, then you sir, are one tone deaf, brain dead individual. ..
@blica1 I didn't imply anything, and their music was of course beyond amazing! I'm a huge fan of The Beatles (obviously), but as you said; they were MUSICIANS. God, have you even watched it? It's like a non-intellectual, lsd-trip that lasts for about two hours.. They could have just made like... 4-5 music-videos (or promo-videos that they were called).
This Video is a fake. That is not John Lennon in that white tux. Slow down the video a look at it closely. The hair is right the sides are right the features are wrong!!! WHY?
This film is shamefully complicit in hiding Brian's gay love away, though the implication is obvious enough for those in the know. But if their were to be a future for the Beatles, they should have turned management all over to Paul. Too many great bands fell apart around lack of leadership (e.g., CCR, Bread, etc...).
I think McCartney was very much the most sensible of The Beatles, he never really wanted to partake in the drug culture & spent all of his time within music. Its easy to see why some people think McCartney is slightly pushier than the others. I think Ringo summed it up with the headless chicken comment, it was a time when 4 men were left to face the world.
What a weird movie, lol, but the songs are fantastic! Loooove Paul in "The Fool on the Hill" <3 and they all look so adorable in "Your Mother Should Know"!
Paul seems extremely cocky about all his ideas. I think he really wanted to take credit of most of the ideas (not saying that the ideas were not his, but still, sounds a bit cocky of him)
@DrummerGS I am a MASSIVE Macca, Lennon, and Beatles fan, but I have to agree with you. After John was murdered, a martyrdom happened. Paulie found it hard to measure up. Paul wanted to make sure that everyone knew what HIS contributions were. Every fan already knows but Paul was about things he'd written getting contributed to John b/c of the Lennon/Mccartney writing credit. Basically, u can blame it all on Chapman. :(
the death of brian left a void in the beatles witch would never be filled he was more than a manager he was there friend billy preston is the musical fifth beatle but brian was the original one
Stuart didn't even want to be in The Beatles when he found out his musical talent wasn't as great as the rest. That's why he left them while they were in Germany.
i suggest u take a look at his artwork on the net and then look at his age, then consider ur age, oh and he was in the beatles and is part of their history a film was made about him and the beatles time in hamburg ...i mean seriously what are u asking that question for,,,lol...
So, Pete best was in the Beatles and he isent know for anything but being in the Beatles for the short time he was, and no one would care about Stuart if he wouldnt have been in the beatles
but he was in the beatles, this is how people make it, some actors get their break cos they were in a film that made loads of oscar wins thats how they are remembered, plus stuarts art is awsome and the fact is people do remember him, really dude you seem quite jealous of some poor guy who died at 21 cos he made his mark,,, i mean really he is remembered and u wont be
When did I say I was jealous? What good is glory to a dead man anyways? Im saying he was remembered because he was a Beatles, he did not contribute anything to the band and was out before they made it big.
Elvis 'whitened' rock-n-roll which really originated from the black Mississippi delta and The Beatles took the ball and ran with it! But you're right - they paved the roads that all rock bands followed ever since! Elvis spent his final years insanely jealous of The Beatles.
man, I´m not getting the sort of continuity you´re aiming at .....
