@TheMegaManNetwork09 he did that to trigger the door opening at 1:26. Somehow picking up the mask magically opens that door.

it took me one month to find out the first level, and i never found out the second one (this)...it was a nightmare for me...i left it all to my older sister cause she knew how to play tomb raider better than meh......now im 15 and i still am terrified about this game......still so difficult yo play.....but yet great

what happens to your game if you fall in 3:10 without the hammer? you get stuck?

Nope. The hammer breaks the two ice covered doors where the Talion lays. But if you run and jump at the ice door, Lara will slip through after a few seconds.

yetis were owned in there i mean a lot of them after you i mean i first tough when you jumped to a black "they can´t get her there" lol they climbed and chased you even more, and then the rocks came you crossed a river or whatever lol and then you climbed a wall so no prob XD

Ok there is that bug cheat at the beginning but the skills displayed after throughout the level are rather impressive. Very hard to beat yur record in that level

Why didn't I? I did an easy curve jump to land on the bridge without opening the door. So there was no need for the mask.

I think he meant why did you pick it up.

The door in the cave (near the silver secret) remains closed until the mask is picked up off the pedestal.

@Ikas90 No, the door opens when you merely get onto the pedestal. Picking up the mask is not needed.

Yeah I just realized watching it again that I did in fact pickup the mask when I never even needed to haha. When I left that comment above, I probably had assumed that I didn't pick it up. I must not have known that picking it up wasn't necessary.

@danLOVESgirlsaloud I know what you mean. The Eagle Guardian fight is one of the best parts of this game. I've killed him about a week ago & it's still quite scary. Thankfully, it's not as scary as it used to be:-)

That's the Guardian of the Talion. I'm not sure what it is exactly. Some people call it a giant eagle, or bigfoot lol

Thats because Nightmare in Vegas is part of the Tomb Raider 2 expansion pack, it is this boss that you saw, they use some of the same enemies to save re-texturing.

Interesting. I didn't know that lol. I did find out 2 weeks after this run was done that you don't need to pick up the mask in the tiger room. You can just stand over it to make the door open..woulda saved a few seconds.

because the door at 1:28 won't be open unless you pick up the mask..kinda sucks cuz it would save about 15 seconds

actually you were partly right about not having to pick up the mask as i found out recently that as long as you climb up to the block with the mask, the door will open lol.
