I'm a little bummed about this episode because this date didn't work out... but you know what? I think of the last scene as a sort of "happy ending" in a way because, after we thought "Oh no, she got stood up! :( ..." we find out that he actually did show up! Isn't that in itself a sign that Ava has grown since Episode 1? And maybe if they're meant together, they'll even call the next day and re-arrange a second date :)
