I can't help but hear a little bit of bias toward the Hinderer in this video which is fine, that's your opinion. It is my opinion that all these high end folders, Hinderer, Strider, etc. all are attempts to improve on the Sebenza, of course that could be my showing my bias. At any rate, there is Sebenza in all of them and that is a fact. I would like to point out that the Sebenza is not designed to have G10 scales whereas the Hinderer is, that's why the Hinderer's scales are done properly.
@bankmind80 thanks, hehe, you're one of the "i like orange" camp too :) Some like it, some not, but the knives... how could you not like them right ;)
@KarlMaldensNose Hey karl, dmt diafolds (C/F, EF/EEF) started with fine, moved up the grits to EEF and then stropped with dmt diapaste starting at 6 micron, then 3 micron, then 1 micron. It whittles hair now. Thanks for the compliment
Me wants. Thanks a lot Zyhano. First the Izula, then the F1, then the Sebenza, now you are getting me on to buying a Hinderer. My wallet hates you. =)
@ZippoThisKnifeThat thanks buddy! good to hear, coming from you. Of course, now I realize it could have been a 5 parter :) there's some stuff I forgot or could have shown too. But this is enough, on to the next review
@zyhano No thank you! There's always gonna be something we forget to mention in these videos. The information is just so vast! Like I said before I think you have been the most thorough for these two knives here on YouTube hands down.
To find perfect the entire video would have to be scripted and directed lol
great vid looking forward to the next part. I think all hinderers lock up early and will move across in time. Mine is new and is early but i haven't used it yet.
I like that Hinderer. It's kind of like if a Sebenza banged a Strider, it would give birth to a Hinderer:)
I've been wanting one for a while. One thing I noticed on yours, though: the lock seems to engage the tang very early. Is that the case with all Hinderers? I know it's still strong - being a frame lock - but that looks really close to coming off the tang.
@BLUNTRUTH4U I have been lusting after the XM 18 for a while, but I do not know where to get them. None of the sites have any in stock. If anyone know where to get them, please let me know. Thanks
@BLUNTRUTH4U I think the strider would bang the sebenza instead of the other way around hehe, if I had to choose I'd guess the seb is female the strider male.
The locks is actually very tight, I don't think it's early, at least it does not feel that way. Didn't have any problems so far and I tried pushing it in from the spine a couple of times (no spine whacks, just hard pushing) and no give there. there's some more photos of mine on bladeforums search "bad for your wallet"
great review, very interesting and informative, thx!
but!! after watching a few days trying to find something that I really liked on your Sebenzа-G-10 scales, but can't!
If this is not a huge secret, please tell me, I will not tell anyone else)!!

Most in depth run down of either knife I've seen on the web!
Your time to make this 4 part vid and time off camera to find/lean all the provided information is much appreciated!
