I have known Scott about 10 years now and have always been amazed of his abilities. My son Jerry and Scott have been through many of the same classes in school and participated in many of the same sports. They both have always done way more than many people have expected of people with their disabilities. Scott is a wonderful young man and a great example as to what a "disabled" person can do when given the chances. Kudos to his Mom and Dad as well.

Another thing that needs to be noted is that while Scott is the strongest player on the team all of the players have always given their best and show the greatest example of positive sportsmanship I have ever seen. Last year the Cheney Parks and Rec Hoopsters placed first in both eastern regional and state- Special Olympics of Washington Winter basketball tournaments. Gold medal. Support Special Olympics.

As a parent to a child with Down sydrome this is another inspiration to me. I have said in my 7 years as his mom "there is nothing my son can't do" Your video is another reminder.
