First heard the Tube Bar tapes in '89 when i was 15, which of course led to some classic prank calls me and my friends pulled off. The Simpsons is a great show but totally stole the tube bar thing, too bad those guys never really made alot of dough on those tapes, theyre classic.
As childish as it is, pranking was harmless fun, and it'll never be the same again with caller ID ;o)
You're right. Sort of. I could have shot more video, but it was sort of depressing in general. And it smelled like piss really badly around the place. That's actually the last line of the video, but Youtube cut it off for some reason.
I first heard the tapes in 1985, and influenced me and my buddies to make similar prank calls. One of the best was calling some guy at a bowling alley to ask if he had 10 pound balls. When he said yes, I asked "then how do you walk?" He replied "with your mother you motherfucker!" Ahhh, the good old days.
GOD DAMN IT! I wanted to check the place out before it was gone. I first heard the tapes back in 94 when I was 13. I think those calls changed my life actually.
you should make a video about the trains

Well Red was right about one thing. "You'll remember me for the rest of your life." We sure do.
