Later, she re-enforced her argument that saying part of his ride ws to warn the british... again not true. His ride was to alert the townsfolk they had to get the arms out of dodge as the british were on their way. It was to be done in complete secrecy so "warning" the british would not be part of it. Ill say it again, he was captured and gave up the info. What part of his ride was he shooting guns and ringing bells?

He confirms that while her delivery of the facts may have been clumsy, they were not wrong. Every member of the committee of safety Paul Revere warned went to the local church and rung the bells. You can read in Paul Revere's own words where he claims that gun shots heard by the British and he while he was captured were from his countrymen as warnings of the Brits.

One link is to a book written in 1905 based on letters and the deposition, and the other is to a Letter from Paul Revere to Jeremy Belknap, circa 1798. The fact is that while Sarah's delivery may have been stuttered and clumsy, she was essentially correct.

@PatriotsRepublic I didn't have the best education, I was home schooled by two parents that didn't really care about my education, my dad evens admitted to his congregation (he's a pastor) that I grew up without a father, I also never finished high school. Yet I know far more about U.S. history and the importance of it than many college kids. I use the internet to continue my education about, well, pretty much everything I was never taught at home.
