  • @mdgurr ive ridden lexan it slides good

  • How does the lexan slide??

  • did you put ply wood on 6 sides...and how thick was it

  • @dec13shaun We go up to our mountain about 3 times a week so we know how everything feels. The purpose of this box was to get the basic mechanics of our tricks down so we could then perfect them at our mountain. Like 270's and switch ups.

  • @NeverBeenFilms does the polycarbonate mimick HDPE well

  • does the lexan bite at all?? and also im sorry if youve already answered this question alredy but whate size were the sheets you got? all i could find on home depots website is small like 11x24"

  • @NeverBeenFilms cool thanks

  • I got my lexan on ebay, I bought a 72 X 18 and a 48 X 18 so those add up to a box that is 10ft X 1.5ft sand it cost $80 for the plastic $60 for the wood and $35 for the paint

  • hey dude nice boz just quick question where did u get your lexan from and how thick was it?

  • @DeadMaauu5 Thanks man! We got it from Home Depot and its .093" thick. Its about the second thickest they sold at home depot.

  • When you sesh yours do you just leave it at the place or do you take it back to your house because im worried about the weathering....

  • @Colfitimal What we did was paint the whole box with outdoor paint to help with rotting and shit, but also when we are done riding on it we wrap around a tarp and weigh it down. A easy and cheap way to cover it from sleet or snow.

  • @NeverBeenFilms ill have to try that

  • love the video helped me alot

  • @IMMAbeBEASTLY Awesome to hear!

  • nice box tutorial bro!

  • are the metal edges around the box ok on the boards? it doesnt scratch or gouge them at all, does it?

  • @extremeathlete72 if you wax the metal part good it wont effect it. it will be just like riding on a rail.

  • how much did you gave for the plastick??by the way cool video

  • the only were u can get hdpe is at laird plastics but its really expensive just get lexan its good

  • @sheckthedeck17 I do not know stores that sell HDPE board, check your local plastic factory or google HDPE board and order it. I know home depot and menards don't carry or even understand what it is.

  • name of the song? I liked the movie btw :DD

  • @sadrazi Scream My Name by LMFAO, and thanks :)

  • na plexi glass will crak really quik

  • instead of LPS can i use plexiglass?

  • dammm man wtf so since i cant get hdpe u think the lexan polycarbonated plastic would be best cause i dont want anyhting thats going to crak nd shit it neeed to last but it cant be like to expensive

  • yo what bout pvc sheets

  • @KNoXgaming The thing aboutt PVC sheets is that from what i've heard and researched is they will crack and slplit apart due to the cold ass weather. But i am not 100% sure on that

  • @NeverBeenFilms im pretty sure thats plexiglass not PVC

  • yo can some help me i cnt find hdpe at home depot cuz when ever i ask them for it they look at me like iam a retard can some help me with this problem or tell me the name of an alternative nd how much hdpe is nd the alternatiev

  • @KNoXgaming

they dont sell it in any hardware stores that i looked in, i ordered mine last year online from lairdplastics (dot) c o m, check it out, or you could just get lexan polycarbonated plastic from home depot, its really not as good tho. after a while you have to start waxing it a lot and it causes you to lose a ton of speed

  • @D12DOOM i live just north of lake Winnabago!!!!

  • Respond to this video...Seckk, I am out in Sun Prairie

  • how much does it weigh

  • @sk8nate111 it weighs about 100 pounds :)

  • Where did you get the lexan and how much did you get it for?

  • @soccerboyyh I got everything at Home Depot and the lexan was on sale for 24.95

  • @D12DOOM Awesome! Where at?

  • What is the metal you used on the sides?

  • @mslmrider We used Dry wall corner bead. They were like 2 dollars each. We needed 3 of them

  • @NeverBeenFilms and what is it made of? Aluminum, steel?

  • when it starts to snow there can you tell me how the lexan glass stuff works

  • @ewright171 Yeah forsure, it shouldn't be that much longer.. well hopefully haha

  • how well does the lexan work(cracks, roughing, ect...). also, how much is it per sq ft? any help is great. thanks

  • @hotwheels526 Well i haven't had a chance to use it yet, I am in Wisconsin and the snow hasn't fallen yet :( but from the reviews and research I did before purchasing it, I have seen that it the the second best thing to use, HDPE board is the best but also costs a fortune. It was on sale for 24.95 for a 4ft by 4ft sheet. I think not on sale its about 50 each. Any more questions feel free to ask!

  • @NeverBeenFilms thanks for the help. im definately getting lexan for my box

  • @hotwheels526 not a problem, and i will put a review up on the box when i get some snow. Hopefully soon cause I'm dying without snow ha

  • what were the demensions and price the lexan came in? and from what i saw you used the metal corner beads and the caulk to keep it down? u didnt drill in the lexan?

    its a sick design

  • @burtonsb1 The dimensions are in the description, 16' wide x 2 feet tall x 14 feet long. The price of the Lexan we bought (2 sheets at home depot) ran us about 28 each and they are 1/4" thick. The corner bead is meant to keep the lexan from chipping if you slide off early and to save your board or ski's, and we did countersink a couple screws in the lexan only where they crease's met just to ensure that they wouldn't flex up.

Thanks :) I like it a lot to and can't wait for snow to come!

  • wat type of plywood u use? just regular?

  • @prosnowboarder19 We just used normal plywood and painted 3 coats on. It was cheaper to paint with outdoor paint than buy pressure treated.

  • o, lol i know cost, just looked at rest of description, what is the approx. weight?

  • @prosnowboarder19 The appox. weight is probably about 100lbs or a little less. It only takes two of us ot move it without a problem. Hope that helps :)

  • @NeverBeenFilms thnx man that helps alot
