  • What an experience.. What a video..

  • All in all, a good deed was done!

  • Its a thousand wonders that deer didnt send someone to the hospital or the morgue! I would never have let a young child get that close to a wild deer , especially one that was hurt and in survival mode!

  • i think these young men did the right thing no the deer is not sick it was tired dehydrated and hungry he was probly really sore too they were not trying to hurt it by "dragging it around " he was trying to get the buck away from the road good job

  • Okay.yes that deer was sick. rabid hope you washed your hands ;)

  • Looks like he had a cateract in one eye at least causing blindness in that eye

  • dumb parents or adults for letting what sounds like a twelve year old kid or younger within range of this animal....thank the lord no one got seriously injured

  • That buck is totally terrified, look at his puffed up tail. I am a deer hunter, but I could not shoot a buck in this predicament. Not fair chase and the meat would be terrible due to stress. The true kind thing to to is to BLINDFOLD THE DEER, beware of hooves, and saw off the antlers to a stub so when if finally recovers, its is hopefully not shot at for the rest of the year. But people have been killed by deer like that before! But perhaps the deer was blind. That would be sad.

  • Haha ya know it aint legal to keep a wild animal. lol. nice buck though.

  • You guys did the right thing, only i might have killed it than untangled it. LOL

  • @mcphee10 thank's..you sound just like my wife. corecting every single little word, plus I was STONED OUT OF MY MINED........and I'm still there. For the rest of my life I will never be sober off Mary.

  • Poor deer and y'all it's hero

  • at the end i was hoping the kids didn't get gored to death. Seriously, that thing could have f'd you up if he would have got a little adrenaline boost

  • @tommymiller66

I totally agree with you, those kids could of got gored to death easily and should not have been that close. That poor buck was terrified! As a lady hunter I could not of shot it though, not fair and meat would of been terrible. A better way would of been to blind fold the buck w/ a jacket and saw off the antlers to a point and backed off. That way the deer is hopefully not hunted for the rest of the season. But those guys were idiots to afterwards pet the deer life that.

  • That buck whould have riped all of you open if he had just a little more energy guys are lucky...think twice when messing with WILD animal espesaly one with horns

  • @Hippy867 antlers deers have antlers, billys and rams have horns

  • @Hippy867

As a deer hunter I know this! I would of let the buck go though.....meat is ruined due to stress, and not fair chase (as a lady hunter). It would of been best to saw off antlers to a point so buck would be most likely left alone for the rest of the season. But I sense a Darwin award in these guys future for playing w/ the buck like that. Especially for the younger kids! People have been gored to death by bucks like that! It's all about the respect!

  • this just goes to show all them peta people that hunters do have compassion and were all not just cold blodded killers ..........but shooting it was the first thing that popped into my head when i first started watching it to

  • @uglykat26

As a lady deer hunter I could not of shot it..meat would be ruined due to stress. But I would of sawed the antlers off so the buck would be hopefully left alone for the rest of the season. But going around petting the deer and dragging if around by it's antlers is a bad idea in my book! People have been severely hurt and killed by bucks that size. Especially those kids impalement by antlers and disembodiment by hooves. Best to back off ofter it's free and just watch from a distance.

  • @equarg saw the antlers off a live animal with no anesthetic??? man you must be some conservationist

  • @cultivationist

Noooo You saw them off about 4-6 inches above the base, after the velvet (fuzzy covering )comes off there is not blood circulation or sensation in that area of the antler. Plus with all the stress the buck has gone though, it would of tasted terrible. So by sawing off the antlers you not only free the buck...you also ensure it will be fine during hunting season.

  • I dont think this video gives hunters a bad name. i have deer hunted since 1999 and I believe I would have done the same thing, how sportsman like would it have been to shoot a deer stuck in a fence? not very. i like this video

  • Wow that made my day

  • nice buck

  • It does look blind in it's left eye. And no telling how long it was on the fence. Hours or days...pretty weak after struggling for who knows how long. Good job, and don't listen to anyone telling you otherwise.

  • Whoever released this deer gets a big THUMBS UP FROM ME !! I live in central Pa. and saw deer get stuck in a fence and the morons would shoot them !! This video shows that some of us hunters have class and have SENSE !!! THUMBS UP !!

  • if I seen u guys do this in person i will report your ass dragging a deer by it antlers fucking asshole he could haad neck damage from being stuck im a hunter and i am outraged this gives hunters a bad name i would have called a game warden

  • your dumb!!

  • if you would have gave him a sip of water he would have gotten a big boost !

  • Deer can kill you with their hooves and antlers, so grabbing it was probably not a good idea, but this story has a happy ending so I guess its ok. Thing looks kind of sick and unhealthy and it never stops looking to the right or turning in circles. Looks like it got hit by a car or something. Mabey it had brain damage?

  • that is 1 ratty ass deer, he's only got 1eye.

Thats an old buck, ya should have shot it.

If he'd a had his strength yall would a got ripped up. I guess he owed you some (petting zoo time) since you saved his life for a few more min. till the next hunter drove by & shot him. XD XD XD

  • BEAUTIFUL buck.....

  • thats a once in a life time chance to actually to get to touch a wild buck nice

  • Thank you guys. I am so proud of you cause it can be dangeorous too. I wish more people had warm heart like you. You guys are truly heros. Job well done.

  • oohhh poor thing it was really nice u guys save him from the wires but he's blind look at 9:58 were the deer starts to turn around that was the reason why he keeps turning around to see whats around him

  • its only blind in one eye alot of bucks get that way from fighting

  • good job guys, thank you, typical, someone would have shot it to death, pulling the trigger is always the eaSY way out

  • i would have shot that deer because it was dieing a slow death. and yes im a hunter and no i dont let the animals i shoot sufer to death.

  • I would of suck a knife in the back off his neck

  • cwd chronic wasting disease maybe??

  • Good on ya guys for doing what you could to help it

  • yeah thats fucked up draggin it and shit. it would have left and did its own thing

  • shouldv had bow wit ya when u got it unstuck and shot it in the face it would make nice mount

  • @vikingsmaster10 shoot the buck in the face from point blank range? with a bow?

its people like you and comments like this that give....responsible, ethical, and conservation minded hunters like me a bad rep, i'm sorry your low life morals and standards influenced my comment

  • I patted her & as I again, tried to pat her ,she jumped up,went around in circles and then leaped off the road. This was about 20-30 minutes later! Brain worm is here in Maine but CWD isn't so far, hopefully we never see that!

If this guy hadn't been caught in the fence & beaten from trying to get out of his entanglement & was just going round & round like that ,then I would think it would be brain worm from that behavior.

Did you contact the wardens so they could check on him in the area?

  • It looks as if he was there for quite awhile, dehydrated & hungry, making him very weak & lethargic. This would explain his slow reaction. You guys are lucky he was as weak as he was or he could have killed you with those antlers though.I once came upon a vehicle off the road & come to find out after stopping to see if they were all ok ,they said they had hit a deer & the deer was on the side of the road. They said she was dead & when I walked over to her,she sat up and just acted stunned.Continued..

  • cannot believe i actually sat through this whole video lol

  • Nice of you to save it, but your horrible for dragging it around. I hate hunting, its disgusting.

  • I agree, they did a great thing. But the circling was a defense tactic. They had it surrounded. The deer wanted to keep an eye on all of them. Not to mention it looked a bit lathargic from being tangled, probably for days, with a lack of rest/food/water. It was exhausted. I would also say they 'dragged it around' to get it off from/away from the road to better it's chances of not behing hit by a car, or shot by an illegal hunter on the side of the road. THUMBS UP!

  • shoulda grabbed a rifle haha ida did that

  • great job guys.

  • I am sure that deer survived, whitetail are very adaptable, nice work fellas..

  • Great job, but sadly he did not look like he would survive long, and it appeared as if he was blind in one eye, the wire probably gouged it. If i could I would have turned him over to a wildlife rescue group, or at least called then.

And to the above comment..just leaving him tangled up is defiantly not the right thing to do. It may be nature but we are not animals and the fence was man made!

Shooting him would have been much more kind then just leaving him tangled!

  • nice job helping the deer but dragging him around was fucked up and yall were lucky that the deer didn't kick your ass because you were surrounding it

  • looks like he was there a few days!!!! scrappedd alot of his fur off!!!, lucky buck tho.... woulda sucked to be eaten alive from the coyotes!!!!

    GOOD JOB ON RELEASING HIM!!!!

i woulda done the same thing!!!!!

  • Well, coming from a hunter, It looks sick because it was tangled in a fence for who knows how long. Not sure if it will make it long but deer are very stong, Hence they do live in mother nature more then we do!! Great job again.

  • should have grabed some corn, and water for him. nice job saving him.

  • nice of you to save it; but you didn't have to act like an ass dragging it around, obviously it was scared

  • if that deer dident run off when i let him go he would be in my back yard and if he dident live jerky 4 everyone!!

  • Yep I think cause it was too weak to attack

  • eaglerunner01 you're an idiot. see my last comment.

  • Gvanillavodka, they were dragging him to an opening in the fence. Give them a break.

  • that was very nice what u done i would have had done the same but my bf said use toook have caouse it to have a haert attack ...u should have just have left it and thats not me been nasty thats just the way the wild life work and u should have not have grab it by its horns omg ..but good job

  • Good job, lucky for you guys he was too tired to do anything. I would not have let my kids get that close, but this poor buck seemed to have other problems.

  • good job on releasing him .. but count your lucky stars he didnt turn on you .... once in a life time

  • suck it up at lease they helped asshole

  • that was ridiculous... that deer could've easily killed any of you by the time that was over... i especially can't believe that guy let those two young boys "pet" that deer. animals are always in survival mode and that deer could've come out of being stunned and gone nuts... i'm just happy none of those guys was hurt.

  • You that bored you need to be dragging him? congrats on freeing him but then after it just got sad.

  • that buck is good as dead....in other words coyote food yaaaayyy.....nice rack tho

  • The buck probably has CWD.Touch and sound are the only things he responded to.

  • thats a big ass deer

  • At 5:12 you can see that the deer is blind on the left eye

  • This deer does not have CWD, he prob feels like shit after being tangled up in the fence and doesnt care whats going on around him, hopefully he gets his barings back before the coyotes get to him.

  • This buck is showing symptoms of Chronic Wasting Disease "The symptoms of CWD include loss of body weight, stumbling, holding the head at an odd angle, circling, non-responsiveness to people, drooling and pneumonia." Was the game commission called about this deer?

  • Good job guys!!! <333

  • I really believe the deer is blind! He only responded to touch or sound. Explains a lot.

  • @johannhudson Agree. Its walking in circles, got stuck in a very low fence for a animal with amazing jumping skills, has a blank stare, and only reacts when touched. Blind.

  • 1. That was pretty dumb Yeah good you untangled him but you guys should have let him be after that He ain't gonna run as soon as he is untangled He's probally been fighting on the wire for awhile so he's tired.

2.The bullshit draggin him was fuckin stupid, It was cruel. Yeah people shoot them and eat them but it's part of survival for some doesn't mean draggin him around is alright.

3.I highly doubt that deer survived He was so in shock that he probally ended up havin a heart attack later on.

  • if the deer wasnt tired it would have hurt u or even kill u.they r very strong.

  • lol lets keep it ur lil bro is funny

  • That buck should have slammed them kids and killed all you homos

  • wow...whats your problem?

  • they dont have a problem they helped it out and let it go

  • oo no no! I wasnt talkin to the deer guys--I'm all for them! I was just responding to someone elses comment...and for that person, I got your nasty message and I dont appreicate it-get a life.

  • o ok sorry my falt

  • you guys laughing sound like a bunch of retards. huh huh

  • You started out with good intentions, but after you freed that deer why didn't you just leave him alone. AS if he wasn't exhausted enough.

  • the deers like but i wanted to go that way. lol

  • that is hilarious did u end up shooting him that day?? hah

  • Haha....Hey, I won't say it didn't enter our mind.

  • Hey whats up Max. Long time no see

  • any update on what happened to him?

  • Yeah, we found him in the opposite fence, dead. Ok, not really, but as we were leaving he did run into the other fence. He did manage to escape on his own and we haven't seen or heard of him since. Maybe that's a good sign

  • it's ok that your opener was a little more humane than you wanted, you were being responsible hunters. good job

  • Thas something rite there, glad it didnt freak and hurt anyone and that was good of you guys but be carefull......

  • How about you put it down for a dirt nap the meats still good

  • deer are so stupid when it comes to being entangled

  • no a bear is the king of the forest

  • grag its hors and cut the fuckin wire or take a rope and tie its head up

  • fake... well not fake but not yours... this was aired on Animal Planet with the show Untamed and Uncut. In the discription he mentions the vid cutting off, thats probaly commmercials or annoucements from the guy. Now there is still a chance for it to be yours, but when i watched it, i forogt the date it i think its was around 1995 - 2001... around that year... whoch is way b4 the flip cameras came out...LOL IM JK... I KNOW THIS IS YOURS CUZ... goodjob 4 savin its life..+ u got full five. not2min

  • at end ofcomment its not supposed to be full five its supposed to be u got full vid. not 2 mins of the vid that animal planet had when it aired on tv

    =-)

  • shoulda called local game wardens office. good of you to not shoot it though! good ethical hunters amen. kinda woulda made a nice pet hahah

  • dumasis shoot the thing

  • Hope your not planning on making a career out of this. That was prob. one of the most idiotic things I have ever seen. Next time shoot it or keep driving.

  • The coyotes will eat good that night.

It looks like he might have been hit by a car and then got tangled in the fence.

If you think he has CWD your an idiot. He is thin because's its after or during the rut and who knows how long he has been in the fence.

  • You guys posting messages are IDIOTS!!!! There was nothing wrong with that deer. No chronic wasting disease and no parasites. There was hair off ti's back because it was trying to escape from the fence and it was rubbing it's back on the barbed wire fence. Dumbass'!!!! Good job you guys on helping the buck!!

  • "why dont we just keep it??" xD thatz too cute :P

  • that buck had chronic wasting disease...hope you washed your hands

  • ok also from a hunter thank u it was very kind... however it was also the stupidest thing you could have ever done. I dont mean to be a rude ass hole but when u piss them off... well good luck search for deer attacks hunter if you dont believe me

  • Good Job Guys!!!,but the deer wont last to much longer, hes got the parasite

  • you guys did a good thing. glad you didnt get hurt

  • Coming from a hunter, thank you for helping out the deer it was nice of you and you guys have my respect. =) but unfortunatly the deer will die soon becuase it is very sick. =(

  • yeah the brain worm and maybe a blind eye besides..I would have called the DNR and had them take care of him as he did look aweful sick and skinny for a buck..But kudos to you guys for trying and at least taking him outta that pain from the wire.. Good job

  • thanxs for saving its life

  • It was a brain parasite. The circling was one of the last stages before death, otherwise he would of kicked your butts.

  • it was doing circles because it could only see out of one eye its like ripping one wing off of a fly

  • Lucky buck!

  • That was so nice of you to help the deer but why put it under "hunting" tag. Hunters will shoot an arrow or bullet where it will die a slow suffering death.

Thank God you were there at least because this would have been a horrible death similar to bowhunting death

  • you know what if ur a good hunter the damn deer wont even feel a thing just drop dead in its tracks

  • Nice work, but the deer was exhausted and in shock. Otherwise, all three of you would have been in bad shape. This will probably never happen again, but if it does, two of you need to pull its legs under and lay on him while you cut him out and run off afterward. I've seen guys have to untangle deer that were locked up in a fight. When they were freed, they were ready to defend themselves. All in all, I think that was pretty cool.

  • Great video, and kudos to you guys for helping it out.

  • u guys fuked wit at the end just leave but a lot of respect lil kids look up too u

  • What you didnt relize is that that deer was very sick, its not normale for a deer to spin in circels like that

  • Agree, Thanks of saving it. but its tired and weak. just let it be and relax then it will get up and leave. very risky hope lil jonny wouldn't get a horn in the face.

  • good job guys that took alot of courage to do what you did ! lucky for you guys that deer was clearly exausted and on the verge of death or else you woulda been a bloody mess .

  • This has probably been said, but thats extremely dangerous to have those kids there poking around at the deer, cool that you saved it but I think you played around with it too much, your risk I guess kids dont try this at home, a bit of brave mixed with stupid but overall good job.

  • Wait, is that legal?

    Whats up with the circles?

  • well somebody was gonna do it so no its not. and if it were me id of shot it i mean look at it. how wants deer steak.

  • Johnny wants to take the deer home!

    Thanks for saving him.

  • DUDE. I saw that on Animal Planet!!!!!

  • that deer would do anything to get on u tube

  • You guys did a good thing! I am not gona lie though you guys are lucky it wasnt during the rut because he would have fucked you guys up... Nice video.

PS these are people who love nature...

  • fucking retard call sum1 with trank gun

  • ..p.s. none of this would have happened

if the farmer with the fence line actually would have tightened the fences each spring and the bucks antler would have just brushed off the barbed fencing

  • lol no one here obviously knows a thing about deer here so i will tell you wuts happening

the deer was more than likely used to crossing through that fence cause he new if he jumped it there was a quick deep ditch an then the road so he tried crossing through it then caught his antlers an kept tangling himself more an more as each car passed through the night an was more than likely dehydrated running a fever and just plain out of all energy its hard to say wut happened to it in the end

  • Probably gettign chased around all morning and got tangled.

  • hmm maybe it thinks it might still be caught in the barb wire or something? idk but u ppl are great for helping it out, it probley would of been strangled by the wire

  • maybe the dear was waiting for something?

  • HAHA those where my cousins, it woulda been a differnt story if some of us other cousins found it. It wouldn't have suffered long !!! BANG!! But still that's cool!!

  • should of just killed it an ate it

  • that would be cruel, its helpless, if it wasnt tangeld in wire then fuck it kill and it and eat it

  • You guys are awsome!Insted of calling animal control and waiting for them to get there, you saved that buck from death,Im totaly adding this to my favs!

  • you guys should have cut it lose and then left. I'm glad you saved it but you were just traumatising it.

  • Well, I think you guys did the right thing untangling that buck. If you didn't do that, I can only imagined what would've happened to him.

  • You guys are sooooooo awesome! :D

  • the reason he is not moving is becouse he is in shock you should have just left him he would run into the woods(scared of you)

  • I Saw That One It Was Kool Also Is You Listen Someone Always "He/She Was Very Lucky" lol i Would Of Asked To Keep It To lol

  • at keast they helped the poor thing horns antlers who cares

  • that deer could of jacked those kids up so easy

  • u were nice 4 helpin it out but also u guys r jerks! that poor deer u were pullin its antlers and obviously it didnt like that u should of untangled it and left i would of gone when it waz ready and obviously it wasnt ready but i guess in the end u werenice 4 tellin him to stop. and also its antlers not horns stupid

  • lets go for a walk deer *pulls by antlers* ROFL!

  • Wow you guy r really nice its just a buck but you still stoped to help it, I also saw it on untamed and uncut , and did u add this after u were on the show or after plz post back

  • I ment BEFORE or AFTER u were on the show

  • I know what you meant. Actually, this was posted back in November. Animal Planet actually found it on YouTube and contacted me.

  • this show fucking rox my sox

  • uh in the whole deer goin in circles thing, the little boy asked if it was his favorite color....WHAT!?

  • lol...I know. I think he meant to say shape but wasn't really thinking of what he was saying. He was so afraid Animal Planet would put that in the video feature. I'm surprised you noticed. No one else has said anything about it. Oh well, we all thought it was funny.

  • haha I notice little things I have issues like that lol

  • You were on Animal Planet: "Untamed and Uncut"

I never thought i would see the true filming of this!!! did you get interviewed??

    Lucky buck, he survived!

    X3

  • you guys record while puttin a finger on the mic and we could barely hear

  • wait i thought that animal planet's untamed and uncut only showed videos where animals attack people, well either way yalll r so sweet (: oh and in 9:39 , why is there a black circle on the left corner?

  • its the sun... dont know why it does that, but on the camera on my phone it has the black circle as the sun too

  • oh i thot it was like a lunar or solar ecplise. lol.

  • lol...That would have been cool. TitanSales is right. It is the sun. I think its just too bright and the camera just blacked it out completely.

  • I know you all thought it was funny and were laughin n joking, but I just have to say, you guys are sooo sweet for helping that deer. It was probably just tired from struggling and a bit in shock as well. Good job guys. Wish there were more people who cared about wildlife like you. =)
