  • Either someone's typing furiously in the background, or these puppies are in the middle of a warzone.

  • I love my Newfie pup! He's so big, yet totally calm, friendly and (the best part) he's so cuddly!!

  • i love newfies. i have a newfie they love kids

  • are these dogs agressive?

  • @TorVlogs Not in the slightest. They're very good with children and people. With other dogs, I doubt they'd be aggressive, since they have a very even attitude.

  • When my Newfie was 3 months old he weighed 35 lbs, my vet said to expect 150 lbs, so I started to pray right then and there and Thank God, he only got to 125. Phew, but loved every pound of him, AND he did NOT drool. AH the power of Prayer! lol

  • They are adorable...I have a newfoundland,Montross. He is my world. He is also spoiled rotten.

  • i would love a Newfounland pup but i dont know where to get one as i live in england...

  • @hjsmith100 try searching up newfoundland dog breeders on google or kijiji

  • I love these dogs. Newfies and Great Pyrenees are my favorite breeds. Gigantic puff balls of massive energy and loyalty

  • Oh fuck that's cute

  • my newf pup are 6 weeks old and these are bigger

  • I once breed Nefies and we had nine gigantic pups they were the funniest things I've ever seen

  • i have a newfoundland, hes only 5 months now and hes gettin biig :D

  • oh i have a dog like that but its bigger and it died ;( how sad is that

  • very cute. i would love to own a newfie! since its more likely my mom and i will move when she and her bf marry, this is the kind of dog i want to come home to.

  • that is really cute!

  • there LOOOOOSH :)

  • they are expensive, black ones are aprox £1,000, and brown ones can go up to £1,500, but they are the most loveable dogs ever, hard work and can smell but lovely x x x i have two one black and one brown, full time job x x x

  • ur right i have two black there really expensive and they are very time consuming but they are so funny and playful :D

  • these newfie puppies are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute and i love newfies sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much i live in a pretty small house so once i move into a begger house im geting a newfoundland can anyone tell me how much they coast plz?

  • @softballgurl467

between 500 and 1000 us dolllars

  • @softballgurl467 acutally newfoundlands also do great in small house or apartments

  • @softballgurl467 They cost from about 500 dollars (US) to 700 dollars, but some can be really expensive.

  • @ThePokeMasterDude / my newf Jake cost me £800 (10 years ago ) a new car ( estate ) a load of garden paving (to stop him bringing it inside on his little feet haha ) new carpets and constant decorating ( drool ) but we would'nt swap him for the earth...

  • @softballgurl467 they cost...........$1500 THATS SO EXPENSIVE

  • They are like little sheep.

  • Average weight of male Lab is 60 to 79 lbs

Average weight of male newf is 130 to 150 lbs

And I just recently saw a male newf who weighed 196 lbs!

  • yes, they are adorable... our baby is now 5 years old. Yes, we love her, but...anyone who feels like cleaning the drool off walls and ceiling, as well as sweeping up the fur tumbleweeds... feel free to come to my house. It sounds cute at first...

  • wait....on the ceiling? really?

  • sorry - just saw the comment... Yes, when my newfie shakes her head the arch of the drool from her jowls can reach the ceiling. We can't believe it either, especially since it's flat paint on the ceiling (it comes off when washed). The drool isn't clear either, it dries with hair, etc. in it, so there are swirls of black hair. You also have to be prepared for a wet mouth to wipe itself on you - it's like she knows when we have clean clothes on.

  • @cafecre8vity

ahahah god i love this breed! but a one reason i didnt get one was the wet mouth cuz my parents are really sensitiv to a clean house, so we got a bernese instead!

  • Oh, they're adorable! I want to just hug one!

  • newfies

  • twitterbug - i have a newf and lab and believe labs are so much smaller, do your research!!

    lovely looking pups

  • I luv newfies <3 Our family haz 1. He wuz the runt so hes not that big but people say he looks like a bear.

  • Our Newfoundland is 13 1/2 years old! According to the vet, they live longer if their weight is controlled. Our Charlie was the littlest in the litter (can you say runt?!?) and has never weighed more then 95 lbs. I pay around $100 in April and August to get him clipped short and the rest of the year I let the hair grow.

  • since they geet REALLLLLYYYYYYY BIG they only live to b about 10 maybe

  • to jamnie i'm happy for you adopting, i'm assuming from a rescue so that's great - but to buy a newf pup from a (reputable) breeder with CH bloodlines and health guarantees anyone can tell you is clearly upwards of $1k. not to mention strict requirements and approval from the breeders on your house, job and everything else to be sure they are getting a good home and will be spoiled and loved for as long as they grace you with their drooly love :)

  • ha more like $2k + a ton of expenses outside of purchase price. do not get a newfoundland if you can't take care of it properly! we've had Big Easy for 4 years and he is the light of our lives, but I can't begin to imagine how much money he's cost us from training to vet bills to all the spoiling we do and not to mention food, medicine, grooming and daycare!

  • I don't have one but I am planning to get one... Sometime in my life... But how often do you have to groom them?

  • really you paid that much?!im adopting one for only 85$

  • when we got ours people thought he was a bear lol airports are so weird

  • oh...my...god...THIS IS SO ADORABLE!!!! i want a newfie SOOOO bad

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!

What do you think a puppy costs? can yu answer me please, in dollars, then multiply it to 50, and answer me. Cause i wanna have one badly! pls!!!!

Also, is raising a newfie really complicated and do I must exert too much time and effort raising it?

Lastly, do they live on tropical countries?

  • Hot weather is not good for them because of their heavy coats, and they originated in a cold, snowy climate with freezing waters where they retrieved. And they usually cost around 1000 U.S. dollars.

  • Oh No! It cost 50,000 bucks in our currency! Pretty expensive huh! and after buying it with 50,000 bucks, I'm gonna spend hundred thousands more to raise my Newfie! Sooooooooooo expensive and in my status right now, it's sssoooooooooo impossible for me to have one! So sad fact! :-(

  • get a labrador. They are kinda the same, but a tad smaller with a shorter coat.

  • yeah you're right! They're somehow look alike.. But not sure whether their characteristics are.. But actually, Labrador is my second choice.. They're cute, but not as cute as my Newfie! So sad.. Huhuhuhuh! But anyway, i think i can afford to raise one if I'm going to migrate there in the US.. So anyone who's reading it,please pray for me to get a job there at US so that I can afford to raise a very cute Newfie dog! Please! Thanks!

  • did you really just say that labs are 'a tad smaller' than newfoundlands? wow. someone's obviously never been around a newf.

  • Yea I did just say that, some labs get really big, and yes I have been around a newf your idiot.

  • yeah cause everyone's seen a 160lb lab.

  • They can get pretty tall and muscular.

  • I have a Newfy, and I might get a Newfy puppy, they're just so adorable!

  • Be still my heart! I need another Newfy baby.....

  • Newfoundlands are amazing. I plan on getting one myself

  • Awesome they are great I highly recommend you getting one.

  • They are soooooooo cute

  • that sucks how old was it and what happened?

  • She was 6 years old. She should turned 7 two weeks later. And we don't know what really happened. She had very much pain and couldn't move their back legs.

  • sadly we had the same thing happen with our approx 8 yr old newf mix back in september. the vet said it was a herniated disc in his neck. we have a new landseer coming tomorrow! I cannot be without a newf

  • oh no:(

    my akita died recently :(

    cant live without a dog

    thinking about getting a newfie?

  • Actually... We choosed our new newfie puppy last sunday. Over 2 weeks we can pick her up! And how old was akita?

  • well kebibi (her name, weird i know) she was only two :( not even actually.

She got sick on friday morning and died friday night :( really big shock.

i love akita dogs but want something different.

Im sure your REALLY excited bout the puppy!! good luck!

  • That is way too soon! Oh well. I hope you enjoyed those 2 years! I cant live without a dog to. Only 2 weeks left! :P

  • Maybe, to prevent your other dogs from dying so young, go to the vet immediately in case the illness is serious. No waiting tomorrow, the EXACT day you notice these symptoms.

  • We went to the vet

    lol im not a idiot

  • Ah, good! Sorry, I was jumping to conclusions...

  • if you do get a newfy really think about it. Do you have a big enough house? My newfie ate to much puppy food and his bones grew to fast for his body. Just be careful of that

  • They are so adorable! Thank you for posting:)

  • my famly has one named ozzy! =)

  • they look like bear cubs lol

  • $1000 thats pretty cheap we got 4 they cost us 2000 pound so thats like $4000

  • anche io ne voglio uno

    -Rosamollis-

  • I think they aren't 5 weeks old they may be almost 2 months old

  • I checked, they are only five weeks old...
