The lore of this game really confuses me. Because you see, the high elves were friends of the humans, and the tauren were friends of the night elves before the fourth war. But now, the humans are with the night elves because they aren't with the orcs because the night elves felt "betrayed" when the tauren joined the horde after the orcs saving the tauren's asses when the centaurs came, and now humans hate blood elves cause they're on the horde cause the horde saved their asses as well. It's shit
@RixPixable Well the High Elves left the Alliance sometime between Warcraft II and III, you see they complained about how muc of their beloved forest was destroyed during the Second War, forgetting that had they not joined the Alliance their whole kingdome would have been burnt to ashes. After Arthas went mad and indeed destroyed the elven kingdom Kael brought his kin back to what remained of the alliance in the east, but you know Garithos was a racist swine xD

In the novels, the high elves felt that the humans barely lifted a finger to help them, only sparing a few hundred men and blamed them for the destruction of Quel'thalas. So they high Elves abandoned the humans and the alliance altogether, calling themselves blood elves to honor their fallen brethren. Continued

@Vitzartti Because Orgrimmar, SW and IF are extremely convenient and they have that homey feel to them. I usually go to places like SW, Org or IF, to get shit done, but I go to SM and Darn all the time to listen to the music and feel awesome. Dwarves intruded into Horde territory destroying it over archeaology without permission.

@zetyadrian Well actually it were the night elves who started all the misery by abusing their magic and grabbing the attention of the Legion with this, who later corrupted the orcs to slaughter the draenei, then move on to Azeroth. Actually, the night elves of then are the blood elves of now, so it's hard to blame anyone. Most of this stuff is silly and happened in the past, but nobody is willing to get over it, but then, if they did, major changes in game mechanics would have to occur in WoW.
Best music in the game, for the best city in the game. I go there JUST to hear the part, 1:22 to 1:45. That is.... amazing. So lazy of Blizzard not to allow flying in Silvermoon.

The music in Silvermoon reminds me of being drunk or high, it's lazy and decadent and peaceful, but it has this sinister undertone. Very appropriate for the city of the blood elves, they are drunk on power and use their magic to live decadent lives, but since the Well's destruction must rely on increasingly sinister means to retain that power.

@aleejacopo Silvermoon is simply way to far off. Also the architecture and the music is a tad too sugary I think. It starts to get annoying pretty quickly when leveling. I leveled a BE pala up to like 15 or 16, then I was so fed up and I continued back in good old Barrens. Ah the barrens .... feels sooooo like home.

@aleejacopo Its cus Blizzard dint finnish the city (since noone is there) you cant fly there and i accualy accuired speed hack and got a private server logg to test my theory and yes silvermoon is infact filled with gaping holes to the neathers between the buildings but i would still Roleplay in silvermoon and i do sometimes (its nice not to have celestrial steed hanging in mid air)

@Vitzartti well Orgrimmar for exemple:I feel like protected in orgrimmar...the way that looks like,it's a warrior city and there is the house where you can buy items with honor...stormwind:Well in my server(i don't own it) 95% of the allies who spent their time in a capital,tha'ts the capital who spends it...it looks good of all capitals of the alliance,for me Silvermoon is the greatest city(as it looks like) and SW for ally P.S:In my server Darnassus is the second capital not IF

@Vitzartti Because Orgrimmar, SW and IF are extremely convenient and they have that homey feel to them. I usually go to places like SW, Org or IF, to get shit done, but I go to SM and Darn all the time to listen to the music and feel awesome. Not sure why, but I'm positive more WoW players feel this way.

@zetyadrian .......... not all horde players are jerks. Plus those "innocent allies" all actually did horrible things to the horde in the past (excluding worgen, Draenei, and gnomes) Humans enslaved the Orcs and basically forced them into doing all the labor. Night elves were the idiots responsible for bringing the demons to Azeroth in the first place! Which caused major havoc! Dwarves intruded into Horde territory destroying it over archeaology without permission.
Yeah very innocent...

@Lightningstrike1220 Well actually, if you're keeping score, it was the orcs who invaded Azeroth first and started destroying people. The orcs were enslaved by humans because humans were angry about that, and who can blame tham? Of course, that time is behind us now. The blood elves were treated horribly by the alliance for no reason, and it even helped lead to Prince Kael's fall into madness. The tauren mess with no one, they just want peace. Imo, the allys do more harm than good to the land.

@PrinceSephiroth Erm... the blood elves were treated horribly because they snobbed the Alliance!! After the Second War the Highborn started moaning about how many acres of their beloved forest had been burnt down due to the war. What they forgot was that if it had not been for the Alliance, their whole realm would have been destroyed by the orcs. Then they left, and after being kikced in the arse by Arthas, their Prince went begging for his kind to be taken back.

@Augustus077 Actually, the blood elves were fine before Arthas, a former ALLIANCE member, went batshit insane and started killing ppl. The BE's tried to form an alliance with the Allys, but they were betrayed because the Allys are a bunch of prejudice dicks. So they turned to the horde, who accepted them because the horde has more class than to be a bunch of moronic bigots. Too bad, the Allys missed out on one awesome race ally. But then again, allys are stupid, so...

@PrinceSephiroth Erm... did you read what I wrote before?? They SNOBBED THE ALLIANCE!! When Arthas was still a normal guy, they decided to leave after plenty of moaning. That said some of the High Elves remained loyal to the Alliance, and still are, specially Dalaran wizards. Anyways, you cannot judge the Alliance for the actions of the Lich King... if anything, had they stood together, everything would have been different.

@Augustus077 *buzzer* WRONG AGAIN. They snubbed their night elf cousins, who refused to allow them to use magic. When Arthas came and started going batshit nuts, they helped the alliance fight against the undead and scrouge, only to be betrayed by one of the alliance top officers and sentenced to death. If not for the prejudice of the alliance, they'd have BEs as allies. But they proved themselves unworthy of such, so now BEs are horde. I'm sorry, but I know the lore well. You're wasting time.

@zetyadrian Well actually it were the night elves who started all the misery by abusing their magic and grabbing the attention of the Legion with this, who later corrupted the orcs to slaughter the draenei, then move on to Azeroth. Actually, the night elves of then are the blood elves of now, so it's hard to blame anyone. Most of this stuff is silly and happened in the past, but nobody is willing to get over it, but then, if they did, major changes in game mechanics would have to occur in WoW.

@Casicko well,the thing i love about this game is not pve or pvp...its just,its like a big national geographic documentary,u can go around explore,learn the history behind such beautiful and on the other hand devastated places,learn about it's secrets,creatures inhabiting it...pve and pvp are just bonuses ;)

The music in Silvermoon reminds me of being drunk or high, it's lazy and decadent and peaceful, but it has this sinister undertone. Very appropriate for the city of the blood elves, they are drunk on power and use their magic to live decadent lives, but since the Well's destruction must rely on increasingly sinister means to retain that power.

@aleejacopo Silvermoon is simply way to far off. Also the architecture and the music is a tad too sugary I think. It starts to get annoying pretty quickly when leveling. I leveled a BE pala up to like 15 or 16, then I was so fed up and I continued back in good old Barrens. Ah the barrens .... feels sooooo like home.

@aleejacopo Its cus Blizzard dint finnish the city (since noone is there) you cant fly there and i accualy accuired speed hack and got a private server logg to test my theory and yes silvermoon is infact filled with gaping holes to the neathers between the buildings but i would still Roleplay in silvermoon and i do sometimes (its nice not to have celestrial steed hanging in mid air)

@MrKokoshanell The Blood elves and the Forsaken have a VERY strong bond, almost as close as Tuaren/Orc... Partly because the forsaken leader is Sylvanas Windrunner, she was the ranger general of Silvermoon and died protecting her entire race
