Good lookin boat and decent animation but i know this is maya's ocean.probably why you called the vid maya ocean animation.lol.try using nParticles for your water.
Very nice jod. The motions are a little jerky, but the rest of it is very good! Very realistic ocean and boat. Just the interaction between the two needs a little bit of work.

yea i agree with atlas.. but try this instead..
-go into the graph editor
-smooth out your keys with a different tangent or just delete if you have too many
-then select all your boat keys and scale them down a little for a more subtle feel
remember water is softer... if you will

Make it less bumpy, and more of where the boat plows through and waves splash up on the boat

looks ok, but you should really mgive the boat more followthorugh.
the boat has a lot of mass, and therefore does not perform such jerky motion.
good attempt though. :D
