This fake moon landing video was produced by a viral marketing company called "The Viral Factory" and was directed by Adam Stewart in 2002. This viral hoax led to 3,000 people, taken in by the footage, calling NASA to complain about their dishonesty in saying that they had conquered the moon. They played the hoax believers for the suckers that they are and they bit.

40+ years later no one has produced credible evidence of any fakery by NASA.

It's completely feasible that we did walk on the moon. We have the rockets, we have the suits, that's all we need. Even if this was faked (which I don't think it was) that still doesn't change that fact that we can walk on the moon and we probably did.

But why? They had a camera and a moon, why film it in a studio? And it's idiotic to assume that their space suits didn't work, we use them all the time on the international space station. I suppose it's possible, but not likely

Except that the Soviets and independent observers around the world could easily track the ascent and orbit of Apollo. The translunar injection burn was viewed in numerous observatories.

In short, the Apollo CSM/LM stack definitely went to the Moon -- it did not hang about in LEO.

Having no gravity is not the same as having no air, but that is irrelevant to this phenomenon.

They had a pole running across the top of the flag stake, creating an upside-down "L," which kept the flag extended across the top, and just from handling it it shook somewhat in the video displayed.

Also, to Mattcnw: film can be dated. This was never submitted to major companies like Kodak for verification of authenticity for obvious reasons. Same for the supposed stolen Roswell autopsies.

There is no air resistance on the moon. When they put the flag in, the energy in that motion caused the flag to wave. Because there was no other friction on the moon, it continued to wave for a disproportionate amount of time

That video is a big fake.

I've taken technical theater among many theater classes a including television and broadcast.

The Stage lites they would of used back then were huge and would be almost 2/3 the size of his Helmet and those lights and the booms they're on are very heavy. Also if you look in the background you see a stage hand quickly start picking up glass that just got broken off of a hot stage light.

Stage light reach temperatures of 480 F all the way up to 5300 F and higher.
