Thank you for this; both gentlemen are wonderfully amusing. They touch on the truism that sledging is comical when done in the right spirit. As Lamb suggests, the more malicious side to it is not a modern phenomenon; the trouble is it is attributed to a decline in the modern game. I do not believe cricket has declined; it is truer to say that global trends mean the game is constantly in transition, but it is still great irrespective of bureaucratic propaganda. Thank you again.
