  • Are you out of your Vulcan mind!

  • "damn it man, I'm a doctor not a physicist"

  • I like the new theme and the movie was awsome! Nice to see a good Star Trek Movie. Hasn't been a good one since Star Trek II The Wraith of Kahn. Can't wait for the second Movie..........

  • @dricivilspace I totally agree with you

  • I still get chills when this place as they're heading to the port and the Enterprise is revealed in all her glory. chills. Loved this movie, I thought they did a spectacular job of nodding to the past and forging on to the future. it makes me wonder if they'll do the same with the Next Generation later down the line.

  • Spock, you are fully capable of deciding your own destiny. The question you face is: which path will you choose? This is something only you can decide.

  • Earth - Year: 2700.

So with this hymn of war, Terran Empire emerged victorious from his first great battle interstellar level, thanks to the courage of the thousands of deaths in combat, able to conquer worlds in over 50 different sectors of our galaxy, we will soon extend to other galaxies in the universe, waiting for news, Long live the Empire Terran!

  • @LVCK2065 I read that with the adjutant voice from Starcraft.

  • Screw remixes, this is epic enough.

  • I didnt really enjoy the movie but i LOVE the soundtrack.

  • @VeryCupboardy I loved the movie. Sole reason I exist :D

  • @Tiel424 As a diehard Trekkie i didnt really enjoy it as a TREK movie but as a regular movie it was AMAZING on par with Avatar

  • @VeryCupboardy Avatar was amazing? Even though its plot was taken from about 10 other works of fiction? And it asks us to sympathize with creatures that killed us on sight when we tried trading our medical sciences for their Unobtainium? (Nope, still a stupid word.)

Star Trek '09 wasn't on par with Avatar, in my opinion, it was downright better. And what's more, I don't have to plan a marathon when I re-watch it.

  • I'm afraid I may have to downvote this video, not for the music itself, which is a masterpiece, but for the uploader's remarks in the description.

  • @TheBovineLord I don't blame you. This music truly makes me want to go where no man has gone before.

  • When this score revved up during the opening credits, I was already crying from the death of Kirk's father. But I really tear'd up during the second part of score, when the Enterprise is finally launching for the first time under Captain Pike. The brass is loud, the mission is set, the energy is pulsating, and all the spaceships EXPLODE out into space one by one!!!!!! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

...And meanwhile, on the Enterprise, Sulu left the parking break on. ROFL!!!

  • When I was going into this movie I was worried, but then there was that beautiful opening sequence and this song started playing...

Words cannot describe how awesome it was to be in the theater that day.

  • @OctavioRedding Word. My thoughts exactly

  • Maximum warp.

    Punch it.

  • Altinate Universe Number 3

    Man i love Star Trek

  • Soo good!! Pirating right now.

  • Totally agree. After the opening birth scene and Kirk SR's kamakazi move, you hear the slow build and have no idea what is coming. Then those strings, horns, and drums come in with the turning logo. Awesome!

  • I think the Admiral Archer joke soared over my dad's head when we saw this.

  • ...I told him that I could not only beam a grapefruit from one planet to the adjacent planet in the same system - which is easy, by the way - I could do it with a life form. So, I tested it out on Admiral Archer's prized beagle.

  • @SunZen Poor little Porthos...deleted scene though, he materialized on Enterprise and the took off happily scampering down off the pad out into the corridor.

  • FIRE EVERYTHING!

  • 10 person left their "parking break" on...

  • A new Star Trek for a new generation. Roddenberry could actually be proud of this movie. The last movie was disappointing. It watched like an 1:30 long episode. Abrams managed to avoid that.

  • @ROFLmao35216 On the contrary. The problem with nemesis is that it wasn't a feature length episode. It was a generic action movie

  • @chaosandwalls

Or that as well. Either way... fell short.

  • @neeeee5eeeee nope sorry im in musselman inwood wv took first at wv chapters and nah its for our concert

  • i love this song were playing it in band XD go drumline!

  • @deadlydragon218 Marching band? Are you by any chance in Baldwinsville?

  • THERE"S GOING TO BE A SEQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!

  • I may throw up on you.

  • @TheDoomArt Damn it man I'm a doctor, not a bucket.

  • @TheDoomArt DA FUCK?!?!?!

  • BRAIN MELT.

  • Yeah star trek movie made star trek cool again.

  • at my school I am the only trekkie

  • @awawal21 Me too. Is your school full of Ghetto kids, preppies, or rednecks? Mine's ghetto.

  • @startrekmakesmehappy ME TOO> Fml.

  • @OOHZnaP I feel you, bro. Or sis.

  • @OOHZnaP Bro.

  • When I heard this tune, and I saw the Starfleet insignia lighting up, I KNEW this movie was going to be awesome! And I'm not even a Trekkie!! :D

  • Yeah the moment I heard that tune in the movie its was like Scot Bakula was instantly erased from time :P Trek restored to Nemoy goodness.

  • @nepht1979

Who the hell is Scot Bakula?

  • NICE!

  • pfft this is nothing compared to James horner's star trek II score and the stealing the enterprise bit, epic!

  • @xKagamineYukix and @CptnFordo Really? I go to Ghidotti and I'm in the NU marching band! :D

  • I have to say "It Great!"

  • @TheDisissparta Actually Nevada Union in Grass Valley

  • @xKagamineYukix Awesome! I go to Ghidotti!

  • Great music helps to make a great film.

  • If John Williams does the Score for the Next Movie. It will be a Box Office Hit.

  • @Roadracer987654321 No John Williams on Star Trek !!!

  • After listening to this, I realised that air-violin doesnt look as graceful as air guitar.

  • It's not the classic James Horner or Jerry Goldsmith score, but beautiful nonetheless.

  • I want to be as great of a composer as these great men.

  • We are doing this music for Marching Band!

  • @xKagamineYukix Very nice, what should I search if I ever wanted to see a competition recording?

  • @xKagamineYukix Nevada Union?

  • Han zimmer, you're everywhere..

    KEEP GOING!

  • hans zimmer has made more than he's a pirate and the pacific soundtracks

  • Accio sheet music to this.

  • CANT WAIT TO PLAY THIS SONG IN BAND

  • I just love this theme!

  • Who cares if the movie was bad or not? We're here to listen to the soundtrack, don't care what you think about the movie itself ._.

  • 9 people failed at the starfleet academy

  • @Robotdrummerzzk was an awesome movie

  • @jamman487 well yeah, maybe for people these days who just like action films. It's nothing like the original Star Trek though.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk As someone who likes both versions of Trek, I believe this version was a heck of a lot of fun!

  • @PeachWookiee Same here. I was annoyed that they destroyed Vulcan at first, but then I realized that if they had kept Star Trek the way it had been, the series would most likely have just died out...

  • @jednx01 The alternate reality leaves open many possibilities.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk

You're just mad because this Star Trek was watchable.

  • @moiriv415 I think they're all watchable. This one just brought in some new blood. And heck, it's fun to finally see what molded Spock in his early years. Did anyone else get what he really wanted to say to the Vulcan High Counsel? Sounded more like "live long and bite me."

  • @moiriv415 Statement makes no sense. If it was 'unwatchable', I would be unable to compare the two.

  • @moiriv415 Buddy I'm a long time star trek fan and they're all watchable sorry if your mind can't process what's happening in the original movies but I guess that's what's wrong with you people today and your watered down Micheal bay crap. In fact this movie is so much like the older movies it's scary.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk was not. picky assholes like you give the movie bad ratings. Go watch it, you'll actually enjoy it.

  • @Terrahorn Well obviously I have watched it, otherwise I wouldn't comment. It was shit.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk you made 8 other accounts and down rated this?

  • @Robotdrummerzzk This film was crap? This theme is decent? Son...there should be a local mental health clinic near your residence that you may want to check into

  • @wisewarriormuzic I bet you're someone who loves DS9.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Don't even know what that is

  • @wisewarriormuzic My point exactly. You have no idea what Star Trek SHOULD be. The new film is a bland action film with good effects.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk I disagree entirly, I think that it added new elements to star trek while retraining old constant themes and sticking to the old stereotypes that we all love. I guess what it comes down to, is if it's good enough for the great Leonord Nimoy it's good enough for any of us.

  • @Zurezule Nimoy would do anything for another paycheque.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk And your problem with DS9 is what?

  • I just love this new theme and the way it was used in the film.

  • This is twice I had to find this for my favorites.

Please don't take this one down.

    Thanks.

  • we are playing this for our halftime show :D

  • shouldn't it be called enterprising young men and one hot chick?

  • The other day, I was in the cinima waiting for the film to start, when suddenly this theme started to play!! It was awsome!!!!

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD

  • Listening to the deep thump thump thump of ships going to warp in the theater was epic.

  • Watching THIS movie was the best thing that've ever happened to me. I love the TOS but this emphasis the whole obsession.

  • Mr. Sulu, set a course for White Castle.

  • @Nemesis40k A picture of the Starship Enterprise crew at a Drive Thru.

I would PAY for that as a background

  • @Nemesis40k does White Castle really exist? we dont have any in Czech :P but we re number 1 in smokin weed (Im not, I quit )

  • @Nemesis40k Ahhh you did... that was classic lol

  • I was so happy the other day. I learned my best friend never saw this movie and I was shocked so I forced him into watching it. He kept saying "No it's going to be gay, Im gonna fall asleep." 20 minutes into the movie he became a fan :D

  • @MrNiceGuySMKM i did the same thing to my friend too!!! but she still thinks it boring and star wars is better... LMFAO!!

  • @Thealiya098 How can star wars be better? Besides, their shields are like paper.....

  • @pardusian141 NO I DONT THINK STAR WARS IS BETTER!!! LMAO my friend does! lol!! I LOVE STAR TREK IM THE BIGGEST TREKIE IN MY SCHOOL LOL :P :D!!!!!

  • @Thealiya098 me to

  • @MrNiceGuySMKM I was a fan for a while but I lost interest thankfully JJ Abrahms' work brought me back!

  • @MrNiceGuySMKM That's the power of Star Trek fellow Trekie.

  • @MrNiceGuySMKM Yeah they fucking hook you right off the get go.

  • 9 people left the parking brake on.....and no, 9 people are not helmsmen

  • You know, there needs to be 1, just 1 more Star Trek movie, they must unravel the mystery of captain Kirk! Where the *quack* does he go?

  • @KingDuncanII

Well, the last known information (In the Star Trek timeline) of Kirk, is that he died helping Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: Generations.

  • @johnbajuice Relative to the Re Imagined JJ Abrams Star Trek Universe, The Original James Kirk Prime is simply Floating around in the Nexus Energy Storm which he was lost in after the Accident happened onboard the USS Enterprise-B. teh Shlock was that it was a Gateway to everywhere else. Having Kirk Prime pappear out of the Nexus and pop onto the New USS Enterprise NCC-1701 would make young Captain Kirk go into Shock

  • 8 people are romulans

  • Kirk: Scotty get us out of here!

    Scotty: Aye, why captain?

Kirk: Because this theme is too epicly proportioned for us!!!

  • Elements of Friar Tuck are infused into the Character Dr. Leonard Mc'Coy, Chief Medical Officer of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701. Mc'Coy's Religious Beliefs were Hinted at Subliminally in one of the Movies and maybe at least once in the Series. Leonard Mc'Coy is the " Older Brother" and source of advice from a Human Point of view to both Captain James Kirk and his Ice-Cold Right Hand Man Mr. Spock, who is the Roman Guard looking over the Crew of th Enterprise.

  • 8 people failed the Kibayshi Maru test...

  • i loves this theme its where the enterprise saves the day

  • Trek 12 will Either Bomb at the Box Office or if it is Done Well with a Dose of Raw Hard Action & a more Hard Egded and More Adult Script than the last Movie with Elements and Theme Music of the Original Series Blended in at just the right times to Reinforce and Remind us that once again we are in the Mid 23Rd Century in the Real Star Trek Universe aboard the One and Only NCC-1701, Which is " the Starship Enterprise under the Command of Prince Valiant and his Roman Guard, Mr. Spock" ......."

  • @jonathanmarvin You don't get the Underlying Real Meanings and Real Themes which the Writers Incorporate into the Characters from the Start. These are what we, the Audience can relate to in Real Life. Whic his what made Trek & Star Wars Work. Jean-Luc Picard is a Cooled Out Lionel Atwill in Outer Space. Picard is also based on Horatio Hornblower's Commanding Officer Captain Edward Pellew who later Made Admiral. Picard is supposed to be an older Mature Version of James Kirk.

  • Nothing beats the theme from TNG/last few TOS movies in my opinion, but this is still very Star Trek-ish. Enjoyed the movie-- it was more Star Trek than I thought it would be, honestly.

always thought the original theme song was super cheesy. the intro itself was fine, but the song.... eh. it's just got that 1960s "music of the FUTURE" feel to it. i think the other ones will continue to appeal to people because they're classical orchestras, not synthesized vocals and bells and whistles.

  • Roadracer the problem is that the original series Enterprise was made on a tight budget and to be honest, looking at it now it was a bit primitive, simplistic and hokey. A beautiful ship no question, but the new version is likely what Gene Roddenberry would have made if he had the budget back then.

The new Enterprise is definetly an improvement while remaining faithful to the old model. And if JJ Abrams had used the old model then the new movie would have been far less than a success.

  • it would be awsome if star wars and star trek combine

  • @ovnwath I always thought it would be awesome if all of the scifi franchises with "star" in its name combined.... Imagine Star Wars/Star Trek/Battlestar Galactica/StarGate SG:1/Stargate Atlantis/there's probably others but I can't think of them right now! :)

  • @Jusmine984 youre right in a way

  • ...Lets punch it.

  • just because it was the first one doesn´t necessarily mean that it is better, i watched the old series and i think that the new series is a load of crap BUT! the film is incredible! honestly they´ve taken star trek to a whole new level and it is cool better sexier. The star trek movie is pretty much how our future could look like and that is cool that u can make a movie out of it

  • The Only Real Ship That Really is the Enterprise is the Original Ship from the 1960s, and We all Know it.

Every other ship that carries that names is Simply, " An Enterprise.."

We know what Exact Ship we Need and Want to see again at the Movies and on Television. Seeing Her again would be like " Deja Vu...

A Total Box Office Hit would happen if we saw the Original Enterprise Once again "

  • @Roadracer987654321 Is there a reason why you capitalize the first letter of EVERY word in that sentence?

(Proud Member of the Grammar Nazis)

  • @taurenmilkco lol at your signature! My friends named me the Grammar Nazi Bitch. :P

  • @Roadracer987654321 the original enterprise was just way too clumsy looking. it didn't look much more advanced than the technology of the day, to be honest. there's a reason they "refitted" the enterprise before they started making the TOS movies. if they brought that ship back, sorry to say, i don't think people could take it seriously.

  • @somnus71 and indded the ship w did see in the 1960s was " The Enterprise.." that took us on all those adventures all those years ago.

The Original Enterprise is like your First Fishing Boat. Whatever Larger or Faster and even more Advanced and Better Equipped Fishing Boat or Charter Boat you go one. The Only one you really have a Real Quaint Innocent Fondness for is your First Fishing Boat that really did take you out on the Water Over and Over again those First Few Times.

  • Quite epic - but then, I've never really been disappointed with any Star Trek theme!

  • Goosebumps! Who else feels them?

  • I was listening to this song as the Atlantis made its final launch

  • @pardusian141 I like listening to the Enterprise Theme watching the final touchdown of the Atlantis, so i know that feeling.

  • Martin O' Donnell, Hans Zimmer ("Hes a Pirate" and "The Pacific" theme music) , and Michael Giacchino (Star Trek "Enterprising Young Men) should all team up and make the most badass soundtrack of all time.

  • @SirAwesumness

Hans Zimmer also made the Inception soundtrack!

  • @piplupsingularity all of hans zimmer is good mostly

  • @SirAwesumness Add John Williams and you'd have a soundtrack of absolute epicness!

  • @NateLeePhillips ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG, JOHN WILLIAMS STAR TREK!!! ZOMG ZOMG ZOMGZORS !!!!!

  • @fringedlunatic613 what???

  • @SirAwesumness Throw Clint Mansell in there and you've got a deal!

  • @SirAwesumness Zimmer didn't compose He's a pirate

  • @chaosandwalls The way you said that made it sound like Zimmer stole the music. "ZImmer didn't compose he's a pirate." lol

  • @SirAwesumness Maybe include Howard Shore?

  • @Thorg100 definitely

  • @SirAwesumness

He's A Pirate was composed by Klaus Badelt, not Hans Zimmer.

  • this and hes a pirate from potc at the same thim sounds like the songs r fiting 4 epicness

  • this theme is too epic for cheesy chuck norris jokes

  • This is truly one of the most epic Themes i´ve ever heard...

  • If this is in the next film its automatically awesome.

  • i Blooped that One : ) Time to go to Bed and check the Baseball scores

  • This is the Piece of Music we here when we see our Unproven Young Heroes who are being taken with the Other Rookies to the Powerful Fortress that will Transport them to the Ship which will Test Their Skills and take them into Danger and Back again .

They are Going to the Enterprise......

  • My favorite track in this film score. I love how it builds for the first 32 seconds. I would love an opportunity to perform this in an orchestral pops concert.

  • Mr Chekov! Disable lens flare effects please.

  • Reminds me of the part some one says

    "This ship is so exciting!"

  • All of you ppl need to hush about dissing this movie. it was an AWSOME movie.

  • I'm not much of a hardcore trekie, but there where so many things that I felt like they pulled totally wrong in this film... but this music is pretty good...

  • cool

  • j.j. abrams should remake star trek the original serie ... i enjoyed this movie and the music was just perfect ...

  • OK, I didn't really like the movie, but the music is still great! If they do a sequel, I hope it'll be better than the 2009 one!

  • @IndianaBilly1 2012. The sequel is coming out.

  • make available for mobile please
