@ichicax4 you should study radiation a bit more. Radiation dissolves into the atmosphere and the water quickly. It doesnt stay concentrated in debris. The radioactive wind is already killing you. Geiger counters aren't even going to register much of a difference between the debris and the water. Internet sources indicate that the US Navy is using their X-band ballistic missile defence system (aka the sea-based HAARP) to send major energy into the upper atmosphere and manipulate the natural jet stream so that instead of the jet stream moving normally from Japan towards the California coast, now the jet stream , and the the radiation fallout and somewhat the debris, are moving more towards all those nice people in Alaska and Canada. Japan was not radioactive when the tsunami hit so the debris should not be radioactive. The power plant blew when it could not be cooled due to no power. This was after the tsunami.

Good point about the ocean water around the debris is probably a bigger concern. Also, just as the fallout readings by Berkley found cesium in the top soil throughout Calif - radiation fall out has also been happening on top of the ocean's surface. Consider that plankton is at the beginning of the food chain & radiation bioaccumulates in every animal that feeds off of it - working its way up through the food chain to the larger fishes - concentrating the radiation. Interesting that the police depts are being supplied with radiation detectors (supplied by whom, I wonder?) - and that the EPA, or Universities / Marine biologists aren't being used? Hmmm.... The entire pacific coastline of the northern hemisphere will be impacted as this debris spreads and spreads. There needs to be a coordinated effort to educate beachcombers not to handle this potential radiated trash. They don't need to educate the whole country, just the coastal communities. Any cleanup effort should also come with the financial support of the Japanese government, as a fishing industry support plan, to a economy under duress. I have researched flow meters that would seem to be more appropriate than spot samples. The lowest price I have found for such a meter runs in the neighborhood of $20,000. I still stand willing to help, but this effort needs the blessing of the Mexican government. I prefer to be asked to help, rather than to demand. I am no dummy.

Publishing takes years sometimes as all data has to be verified and articles are published in order...many medical and scientific journals have a one to two year wait for publication in scientific journals. I used to sit on one of these peer review panels in ophthalmology and retinal research.

@ichicax4 you should study radiation a bit more. Radiation dissolves into the atmosphere and the water quickly. It doesnt stay concentrated in debris. The radioactive wind is already killing you. Geiger counters aren't even going to register much of a difference between the debris and the water. Maybe give someone with credentials a call before you start announcing what is appropriate, proactive, dangerous, and urgent. Call someone in the science dept at a university before posting k?

it's apparently TWICE the size of Texas as reported on CTV news up here in Canada, they say that debris will continue reaching the West coast for another three years, however it's the same scientist who were saying the debris WOULDN'T reach the West coast until 2013!

Local police Depts are being supplied with radiation detectors and many beaches may be closed! I know of a person who had a vision several months ago that Sacramento will have to have water hauled in and she saw many people carrying bottles of water!

May i please have the link for the graph showing radioactive ocean levels .If we can track Chinese aircraft carriers from space[ see MSM today ] we should be able to track Texas sized debris fields.NASA [Never A Straight Answer] should be willing to do this.

Good point about the ocean water around the debris is probably a bigger concern. Also, just as the fallout readings by Berkley found cesium in the top soil throughout Calif - radiation fall out has also been happening on top of the ocean's surface. Consider that plankton is at the beginning of the food chain & radiation bioaccumulates in every animal that feeds off of it - working its way up through the food chain to the larger fishes - concentrating the radiation. Marine snow is another concern

@ichicax4 After Chernobyl, in the Pacific Northwest (I believe it was), there were reports of the decline of new birds being born - thought to be, because of the bioaccumulation of radiation in the insects from which the birds fed. Back then, the radiation circled the globe via the jet stream.Hmmm.... now that sounds familiar. Remember the report of the highly radioactive spiders in Japan - 1,000 times the concentration in the environment - Unfortunately, a good example of what to expect.

@lauralee19 A good quality Reverse Osmosis reportedly will remove radiation as well as fluoride. Interesting that the police depts are being supplied with radiation detectors (supplied by whom, I wonder?) - and that the EPA, or Universities / Marine biologists aren't being used? Hmmm.... Bet they will only check on debris and not take readings of the water Or , I bet, the water will now be considered the "background radiation levels"? Will have to stay tuned for more info.

The entire pacific coastline of the northern hemisphere will be impacted as this debris spreads and spreads. There needs to be a coordinated effort to educate beachcombers not to handle this potential radiated trash. They don't need to educate the whole country, just the coastal communities. What to finally do with it all will be very expensive, as it may possibly need to be HASMAT transported to a radiation disposal site.

Any cleanup effort should also come with the financial support of the Japanese government, as a fishing industry support plan, to a economy under duress. I have researched flow meters that would seem to be more appropriate than spot samples. The lowest price I have found for such a meter runs in the neighborhood of $20,000. I still stand willing to help, but this effort needs the blessing of the Mexican government. I prefer to be asked to help, rather than to demand. I am no dummy.

@danielvincentkelley There has been tons of data presented just google ocean contamination. Publishing takes years sometimes as all data has to be verified and articles are published in order...many medical and scientific journals have a one to two year wait for publication in scientific journals. I used to sit on one of these peer review panels in ophthalmology and retinal research.

Thanks for the information. I have responded within the first 30 days of the disaster as a first res-ponder with a private expedition style vessel, to help monitor the fish farms off the coast of Baja California where I am retired. My letters to the office of the President of Ensenada have been ignored. Even a hand delivered letter has gotten no response. I have suggested monitoring this very important area with the co-operation of the Marine biology dept of the University at Ensenada.....

But this is CERTAINLY not the fault of the masses, but of the few, the devastating environment Earth is suffering by industrial pollution that has devastated Earth. Beyond that, the nuclear component is the fault of the Japanese government and TEPCO who have grossly mismanaged the nuke melt down which seems to have gone China syndrome last June hitting the ground water booming a steam explosion the plant now over capacity for water storage.

US war aircraft are regularly shooting large depleted uranium bullets into civilian neighborhoods. That's a form of nuclear war. There's a war of nuclear medicine that's going on in the US with people falling victim to the medical establishment subjecting them to radiation on top of so very much other radiation never challenged by the medical establishment how much radiation people are exposed to then they radiate you fierce. Some people are put on internal radioactive fluid.

Sister, you are AWESOME. It is people like you and God that keep me wanting to stay in this body for awhile. I just found out what the New Testament says about a new Earth.
