@SoniaIsAwesome Skipping the wig cap can be a pain in the butt, so I'd suggest buying one immediately. If you go to amazon(dot)com, you can buy a pack of 2 for $3.00, and get it within 3-5 business days. I would highly reccommend buying a wig cap!

@babychunnieJi No, it's fine - I recently chopped off my hair and was unsure too. Yes, ALWAYS use a wig cap (and the spider comb too if possible), and pin your wig to the wig cap. Basically follow every step in here minus the twisting of your hair into two ponytails.

@IluvNinjaKitten3 Try plaiting your hair rather than twisting it like in the video. Twice as long as Yuki hair should be fine without that however: give both a try.

I have a question, Do you have any tips for someone using a long hair wig? I have oen thats a bit heavy- and it tends to pull my cap off my head, do you have any tips on how to keep a heavy wig fastened tightly? My wig is a Kaoru (Kenshin) wig, it's long with a bow tying at the top, with a long pony tail style, the weight of all the hair pulls at my pins and it slips over time. Can you help?

right thanks...I seem to always have trouble getting the wigs to look natural on me...I think I know why now thanks! I cosplay Cloud Strife (FF7) so it's tough to make his hair look natural to me. But I also cosplay people like Nero from Devil May Cry and Tidus from FFX so those are pretty easy to make look natural (mainly because their hair doesn't defy gravity). Thanks again!

I have very long hair (middle of my back) and for my next cosplay I want to do Tamaki, from OHSHC who has very short hair.

I've don't know whether I want to cut my own hair for the cosplay, or get a wig. I have tried a wig before, but it was an bad experience, so I am hesitant to use one again. HOWEVER, I love my hair and would be sad to cut it all off.

What I found to be especially helpful were your tricks of sliding on the wig cap and wig from the back (my wig didn't get messed up at all!) and your idea of seperating the hair into two parts. I used to think you were supposed to make one bun, but the wig is a lot less lumpy and more tight to my scalp now :3
