Believe it or not, the recoil on an M107 Barrett isn't that bad considering how big the bullet is. The recoil is there, but it's not like being punched in the shoulder. You feel more like you're being pushed than hit.

I meant that is wasn't a sharp force. It didn't hurt like being punched. People equate it to being punched in the shoulder really hard, and it's not like that. The recoil is very much lighter than you would think.
