One door was loose, but now fixed. As for size, it's over 2 1/2 feet long (1:6 scale).

I have some questions about the Vado, hope you can help me out. Thinking of getting one ^^

Here goes:

Can you attach the Vado HD to a tripod?

Does it have a menu for lighting, colour variation, colour "moods" etc?

Does it come with a lens cap? - the lens seems kind of exposed to me - im afraid of scratching it.

Are the two hours of filming enough?

Is it easy to use?

Please answer all of em, not just the "pros" :)

Yes, make sure you get Vado HD, not just the Vado. No lens cap, but you can buy the table tripod, silicone cover and smaller netting case from Creative (Vado maker) website. As for menu, you only have option of HD+, HD or VGA. I always set to HD+. Very easy to use and so far 2 hours is fine. Remember this, when you film a clip and stop..that's one file, which you can edit together later. Not like regular camcorder where the video picks up when you pause or stop recording.

Turn it on and press the big record button. To play back, push the play button. Very easy and few buttons. Yes you can get a tripod and its definitely needed because motion is pretty terrible looking (I think this is normal unless its an extremely expensive HD cam). The lens is not as exposed as you think. A grey outer casing comes with the camera too, so the actual lens is pretty hard to hit with anything.

Too bad it has absolutely no zoom though...
