I guess AI Focus could be used if you are shooting from a distance with for example a external shutter and need to bee sure that the camera will refocus it self if you move.

Very helpful video, I had my camera set on AI Focus and was having problems focussing I was convinced there was a problem with the camera, but after watching this video realised that it was the settings I needed to alter. I find the guy in these videos very easy to understand, he explains the settings clearly as opposed to most who seem to speak another language!! Well done and Thanks.

i'm thinking of purchasing this camera in a few days...i'm actually looking at this t21 and the sony a dslr 580 .. which is 16 mp but it has a lot of auto features..wht do you think of the new sony 560 or the 580
