-Do bands likes Zeppelin, Floyd, Joplin, Doors, Hendrix, and The Who give you chills? Are you physically attracted to seeking truth in music?

@ldsjfdslakfjdsa they played stairway after this, and as encore whole lotta love, and black dog. May 25 they also played Heartbreaker and communication breakdown.
The ending solo between 3:45 and 7:10 emulates perfectly what it is to be dazed and confused out of your mind. The solo is a weird psychedelic jazz. Nightmarish, filled with dread. A bad dream. Brilliant guitar playing by Jimmy Page.
I think Bonzo looks bored shitless on this track....plant doing a bit of singing...jones,well just being jpj,basically....this track belongs to pagey, doing his "thang"......heard better! Led zep are,by the waymy second fave band of all time......THE WHO being first
This is pretty much where Zeppelin started to disappear up its own ass. You can take things "too far".... and heroin of course is one of them... "Jimmy" The song remains the same version of Dazed was absolutely fabulous in its performance and intensity, whereas this is really a case of simple over indulgence. That's my thoughts anyway? I know people will think I'm a fucking idiot.., but I don't care.
@yellingelk I'm going to have to agree with you on all counts. This performance was sloppy all around. I often felt vicariously embarrassed while listening, especially for Page.
@Jitpring You have shit in your ears ?This one best version of this song, the game of page is amazing,it blends improvisation and speed, the band is at 100 % except Bonzo who is at 50 %...
as Joni Mitchel once said, 'no one ever asked van gough, "paint starry night again man", he painted it, and that was it'
In a way this is an example of that trusim. A terrible version of their greatest classic and one of my all-time favourite songs. drum an bass as good as ever, voice an guitar....TSRTS version will always be the perfect audio blueprint for me.
@modelverb that's because that's the "recorded" version that you've heard a thousand times....i love the yesshows version of "gates of delirium" best but there are other bootleg versions that still blow me away!
this is like my fokin 1st orgasm!!! i fokin wish to go bak in time and watch this live so i kan scream with them plp and be happy!!! stone and drunk iz like heaven on earth!!

Yes it is sloppy (no duh!) but I love this.
If you don't like it, just play something else and move on with your rockin' day.
