Hands down, worst angle of the fretboard for a lesson.

Sure you can play it by ear, but I could learn it that way by listening to a track.

take your time and figure out each note by rewinding it over and over and doing it a few notes at a time, it will help your ear develope and it will get easier over time, figure out what key hes in, you can see where he is playing and try each note until it sounds right, best of luck
