  • A great job! You sounded better than a lot of others who are much older - and your runs are clean, I especially liked your lower register smoothness - at only 16, you have talent and feeling, so keep it up! Great job :)

  • @ssnoc  Thank you! This was over a year ago. I really should post some updated videos. I've improved dramatically since then.

  • nice work this brings back memories of when i was in high school jazz band at your age.  may i request "Take the A Train"? would love to hear you do it. this vid is a year old so you probably already know that you start to lose your tone on the long notes - hold that embrasure firm through the entire note. also, a softer reed may give you a softer tone for this type of song. glad to see there are still good young sax players! thanks for the vid.
