I studied Africa for my debate class which has many real-word applications, lawyer, politician etc. But it is important anyway to understand what Africans go through. I certainly don't worship Africa, nor am I a communist. I consider myself the opposite of one actually. I would agree they have a low IQ but that is because they don't have much of a chance to obtain education. I will address the "lower violence rates" in another comment...

I did read about that, and that is very wrong. But a few bad people doesn't make them all bad people. Imagine another country looking at the US. I hope they don't see us all as 'George Bushs' which a lot of people do actually. But you and I know that we are not all bad people in America, just as the people in Africa aren't all bad people. You must also realize that poverty increases violence as people look for ways to survive. I have one you might not have heard about...

Bono of U2 has said that thanks to America's help, thousands of Africans owe their lives to America. That was cool when Bono met with President Bush about this. I studied Africa for my debate class which has many real-word applications, lawyer, politician etc. But it is important anyway to understand what Africans go through. I certainly don't worship Africa, nor am I a communist. I consider myself the opposite of one actually. I would agree they have a low IQ but that is because they don't have much of a chance to obtain education. I will address the "lower violence rates" in another comment...

The IQ does not have anything to do with education. It is genetics and their low IQ is hereditary. That is why Africa is in the stone age and always will be, as long as Africans are in charge.
Look at any country run by Africans. None will ever be anything but a third world shithole, even if they have oil.

I agree with you that there are many struggling families in the US, including our own that we need to help, but if we have that extra dollar, I think it is a good thing to send it to an African organization. I will answer your assertion that they are stoneage people with more respect than it deserves. It is true that much of Africa isn't as developed as the rest of the world, they are hundreds of years beyond stoneage. I will have one more comment...

Technically we are all animals, so your claim that they live like animals would also apply to you and me. But obviously this is being used as an insult. Once again, it isn't always as simple as you might think. Would you choose starvation as many have to in Africa or would you have sex with a stranger. It is a very difficult life there and they have to make decisions that you likely never will.

...But prostitution is a problem. But most of the time it is done so they can eat. Often they are raped w/o protection which is how they become pregnant. I suspect it is a very small minority that actually do what you are talking about. I agree that you shouldn't have kids if you can't support them but once again their is a lack of understanding and law in Africa causing many pregnancies.
