  • Cough cough NO LIFE

  • this is really Cool

  • Loving the straw.

  • impossible....

  • wow cool

  • Is it just me or does that look like a fucking mini roller-coaster ready to ride?

  • 00:14 LUKE

    I'M YOUR FATHER

  • It's so... spinny.

  • Build the Death Star next.

  • don't you have a unstopable motor there?

  • @ErickSchwartzVlog

    nope

    energy is always conserved

as you draw the kinetic energy away and convert it via a generator, the spinning will eventually stop

    its no perpetual machine

  • Magnets. How do they work?

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Y U NO POWER MY HOUSE?!

  • the first half life toy !

  • Cave Johnson, we're done here.

  • o________________________________________o

  • It's called magnetism, captain dipshit. North repels north; south repels south.

  • Now to divide by zero...

  • Resonance Cascade waiting to happen.

  • finaly

    perpetual motion

  • Cool!

  • Troll science:

I have infinite free energy, Problem?

  • i like the part when it spins

  • good job dude... my kids have some of these and we've been experimenting with ideas too.

  • does it point at the N??

  • could be the "spin the bottle" machine

  • OK i Want one Like That =P

  • get a life...

  • how many pieces did it take you to make that?

  • Jesus, someday people will give themselves electricity with these things.

  • @LoopyStudios hi well a. If you attach a motor head to the center it would create electricity and b. Arnold shwartzanager

  • i used to have some of these when i was little i loved them

  • Don't eat that birthday cake.

  • Now all we have to do is find a way to harness this power and a guy with really strong lungs.

  • ultimate thing

  • Dude, That's awesome!

  • Ha, you are an innovator sir. You just gave me a new idea for my next rocket to mars, look for your video in newspaper kid. You just started the greatest technological finding ever.... At least sparked it.

  • If it were much bigger and you attached a shaft to the middle hanging ball which would be connected to a generator voila free electricity!

  • Trollscience!

  • YOU SPIN ME RIGHT ROUND BABY RIGHT ROUND , LIKE A RECORD BABY RIGHT ROUND!!!!

  • YOU A

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • its not anti gravity because if it was the thing would be spinning for ever unless some one would stop it or some thing

  • Now THAT takes talent

  • witch craft!

  • Cool

  • Good job my son, now take it back in to your room.

  • amazing :D thats being bored at home :D

  • And Thus, GlaDOS was born!

  • I know it's not real antigrav...but antigravity gets a lot more interest than "magnets"...and hey, I've seen some posts with bits of STRING claiming to be antigrav, so at least I'm not being THAT misleading.

  • @nigelcoxon Tbh, i dont see how the one using stwing is misleading. its using string to stop it floationg up, not falling down. its because its too good it needs string. this one has a point holding the spinner at the top stopping it faling down, if anything, this is the fake.

  • I think it's cool. but it's not anti-gravity, if it was anti-grav it would be lighter in weight at any given time. I can't wait for real anti grav... but this is still a cool project.

  • ok............

  • Wait so you made that whole gigantic contraption just to make a stick spin?????

  • your table isent lvl. lvl the table and it wont stop

  • Comment removed

  • not to make me sound like a troll but you gotta be REALLY bored to make this

  • but will it blend?

  • SUCH DIR FREUNMDE DU SPAST!"

  • Someone needs a girlfriend

  • The high pitch noise from this video makes me feel there is someone behind me..

  • Its a perfect roulette

  • Attach this to a generator

    ?????

    PROFIT!

  • gravity is still there, that's magnetism

  • But will it blend

  • I have one question... Do these people have jobs? Or lives?

  • Put some lubricant on the connecting ball!

  • Comment removed

  • for a few seconds there i was like SHIT perpetual motion has begun:P

  • But will it blend

  • cocaine snorting machine

  • lego man

  • The Cern thing made me laugh. I'm immune to the "no life" comments...after all, the people who posted them had enough time on their hands to trawl the internet for this.

I'm afraid it's exactly because I DO have a life that there will be no "how-to" forthcoming :-)

  • @nigelcoxon rly... aww i was kinda gunna ask u for a how to... then again that looks time consuming. dont let stupid haters discourage you man. internet is fucked up and i bet it's just teenagers sayin u have no life and it's exactly how you put it. plz make more vids like this tho. vry interesting

  • MEANWHILE AT CERN

  • Now there's someone with no life

  • Make a how to plz :)

  • dont get light headed blowing that straw ;)

  • hax

  • Forever alone :(

  • 0:20 Darth Vader sound!

  • i wanna go get my geomag now :O

  • dam!!!

  • That is epic, i used to love geomag it was expensive but so much fun i wish i brought more, its fantastic to play with

  • i would leave a slow fan on and go to school see what happens when i get back

  • i would leave it on while i went to school and se what happens

  • It spins for about as long as you see in the video. The only things slowing it down are air resistance and friction from the two ball bearings at the hub, but that's not a lot due to the very small contact area..

  • @nigelcoxon

i think if it was on a perfectly level surface it would spin much longer too

  • @nigelcoxon OBJECTION!!!

if you look close, you could see that the magnetic fields from the towers holding this thing are slowing it down also. the one at the right side is attracting, the others are repelling.

and by the way, i fkin hate the sound the air produces through that straw.

  • how long can it spin?!

  • You are good making this! Really!

  • Perfection in every bar.

  • A life,

    you has it.

  • Awesome work dude nice.Really nice!!!

  • Coolest geoag construct I've ever seen!!!

  • wow, genial !!!

  • you need a new camera :c

  • someone works for NASA

  • @D0OMZDAYZ xDDD yeah

  • To me, the best part of this was the intricate loop structure in the middle. It looks very densely-packed together.

  • if you spin it does it spin forever?

  • CUANTAS TORRES TRAE POR UE EL MIO OLO TRAE 72 TORRES

  • Correction - one octahedron is 12 bars and 6 balls - sorry about that! Means the blue loop contains 360 bars and 180 balls.

  • @nigelcoxon wow man, you invented the perpetual motion !!!!!

  • @nigelcoxon and let him run you can try to accumulate energy

  • Thanks for the nice comments. Haven't built anything with GeoMag in ages...might have some free time at some point again.

To answer some questions/comments - no idea how many bit I used, but one octahedra is 9 bars and 5 balls, so the blue loop contains 270 bars and 150 balls. on top of that there is the red track, made of four (red) bars and two balls per octahedron - so another 120 bars and 60 balls. then there's the whole gantry thing which I have no idea how many I used.

  • kool

  • Wow... hw many did u use?

  • by coincidence,it seems to make one rotation in a second

  • use it to tell your own time?

  • haha thats awesome XD

  • lol imagine instead of jet engines. Hitler made anti gravity spinning ones XD ahah No fuel required XD.

  • oh thats nice gotta have taken long time to build...

when I try to build something cool i always forget what side is positive and negative... :(

  • so close to perpetual motion! haha good job!

  • Grate!

  • Stupid Youtube won't let me post to my own thread!

  • @nigelcoxon why not?

  • nice, please tell me how to make this. i love it

  • dude thats crazy
