@SchizoidAsylum I couldn't say how it acts with EMG pickups for sure since I don't have any guitars with EMG pickups. Same with the Morley pedal; I don't have experience with it. My opinion, it is the best volume pedal out there I have used.
The power for the Hilton is a little unusual because is has a 24volt power with high number of milliamps. It is generally the best thing to use the supplied power supply rather than trying to hook up to a Voodoo Labs powersupply etc.
The criticism against the dunlop that its volume was gone before the pedal was all the way back to the heel was a valid point...however watch the Hilton pedal do the very same! Yet no mention of it for that one? Biased??
@1madaxeman I don't believe the Hilton did that in my video, but one thing I didn't make clear in my video about the hilton is that it has an adjustment for the shutoff that you can change easily at anypoint using a phillips screwdriver on the under neath of the pedal. You can see this at 4:48. This can allow you to adjust the pedal to completely shutoff at certain point or not. I should have explained that in the video. Thanks for watching and for your feedaback!
Great video. It shows why guitarists need the Hilton Pedal to get the true sound coming from your guitar. No pot to take away tone you create . The Hilton pedal is available for immediate shipment worldwide. Contact 217-433-7455. sillmusicsupply@gmail.com
How well will the hilton work with active pickups in guitars (EMGs)?
What power does it require?
Can you compra this with a Morley Optical volume?
