The man I love, this song reminds me of his grandparents, his mom's parents. His grandma has this diease that shrinks the brain. His grandpa, although he's like, 83 still takes care of her and you know he still loves her so much. Its so sweet, it just makes me wanna cry. I adore his grandpa. His grandpa is the closest thing I have to a grandparent. I hope and pray with all my heart that I get to be his granddaughter in law. I love his grandson with all my heart. The way he loves his wife.

I remember them playing this at my first wifes grandfather's funeral and I remember crying crocodile tears. He and I were extremely close and when he died we all lost a really important piece of us. I have always loved Colin Raye and so that made it even better.

It also reminds me of me and my fiancee, at least the " Between now and then, till I see you again, I'll be loving you" because we live an hour and a half apart in different states ( MN and IA) for now. How on EARTH does Collin sing this song ( and another of his called "she's gonna fly" ) without bawling his head off?! This reminds me of my mom and "step -dad" ( they aren't legally married but they act married). Mom has terminal cancer. the part " between now and then when I see you again I'll be loving you" reminds me of me and my fiancee since we live 1 hr 20 mins apart for now.

my grandma showed me a love poem that my grandpa wrote for her just a week after he passed away and they met in 1928, both texans, kinda like this song. now my grandma is done with her chores and met him in heaven on jan. 7, this song means a lot to me, thank you for putting it up!
