I really enjoyed Death Note. I would probably say that I liked Light the most (I often found myself rooting for him); however, L is what made the series really and, to a lesser extent, Light interesting.

Although I enjoyed the whole series, I have to admit that the series went downhill after L died : / Despite me wanting Light to "win" over L, it became boring after his death.
