I just don't understand the reason why people mock Scottish accent or just plain refuse to understand it. Specially in the uk where almost every city, or even different areas inside cities sound soooo different there shoud be acceptance of all linguistic varieties. My boyfriend is from Edinburgh, I'm from Spain, one of the reasons i fell for him was his accent! You guys should be proud of what you sound like - fuck RP!

His accent is quite strong. This is what he says: "Started on this wee bird called Tracy, got her name tatooed on my back - you know the script. Soon as the tatoo's done I got her up the spout (got her pregnant), and I had to dump her. Nae bother, just change the tatoo to the name of my favourite film. But then Tracy had the wain (baby) and it turned out not to be mine at all, so I just made one more wee adjustment. And now for me and Tracy's engagement, I've had to change it one last time."
