  • I can't understand his accent and I have no idea what he's one about. I also found that filezilla is not free. I'm going to hire someone to connect me.

  • ftp is worthless if you have a computer and are trying to be both the server and client. Why would u want to send yourself files? There is no point in this and most of these so called ftp video tutorials are shit. Most people who claim to know how ftp works do not and if you watch these videos u will only end up more confused. Bottom line is if you want to share files over your own home network then use synctoy or setup file sharing.end up.dont waste time with ftp.

  • what is the point in accessing a server that you made on a computer from that same computer? answer:none. i want to send files over the internet to another pc across town, not in the same room. i have 4 computers networked in the same room already for file transfer. not needed. can i get a simple explanation how to do that or am i just going to get ten minute tutorials and not learn a damn thing. sorry if i seem pissy but this is the 15th video ive watch for trying to figure this out.

  • **Please answer**

Can you type in anyway web address that you want for the Host?

  • @thevengance You Sir, Are a VERY Computer illiterate person.

  • @NoFatGamer First, it's madame. Second, I am FTP server illiterate and was simply inquiring something. And you should also stop insulting people who don't know anything about FTP.

  • Are you fucking retarded? I want to access a ftp server i made. FROM A COMPUTER, I WANT TO KNOW HOW I CAN ACCESS THAT FROM A DIFFERENT COMPUTER

  • @MrNukesftw Open your ports AND find ur external IP adress, And learn how to use a computer.

  • mate - I can't hear a fucking thing for the music - turn it down or off - and speak clearly I can't understand anything you say.

It was nice of you to put this video on but it's a waste of time cos I can't hear what you're mumbling.

  • How do you find you're user and password?

  • how do i connect to it when im not on the computer i made the server on

  • Help...I entered my IP in from my FTP server and this shows up

Status:Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".

    Error:Could not connect to server

  • Pretty long and intense intro there dude :\

  • "failed to retrieve directory ilstings" and on server "can't open data connection" suggestions?

  • how do i access this from outside of my own computer or outside my network?

  • Input the website address or the IP. Google "What is my IP" to see yours.

  • @CompHelpHacks And he has to open his ports! =D

  • when I type in the ip address for "host" it wont connect to the server I made.

  • Don't type in your actual ip, you'd type in 127.0.0 or 192.168.1.xxx (run cmd and type in ipconfig to find the xxx)
