Btw, just for the record, the whole thing about using a tool on the wrong type of block makes it degrade faster is a myth. It only happens if you try to use a tool on a mob.

I tested it out on my server by making identical in height vertical stacks of 60 of dirt and stone then used a wood pick to mine both and got through both equally. And then spawning 30 pigs in waves of 10 and killing them with the pick.

Wooden Pick vs Stone: 60 uses

Wooden Pick vs Dirt: 60 uses

Wooden Pick vs Pigs: 30 uses
