In mine sqaull frezers at 6:05 and iu don't know what to do, dsc has no scrathers :P has this happened to anyone esle, like evryone still moves but sqaull is frozen help

@nintendoprofessor94 graphics don't make the game.you must be a newer/younger gamer.so i kind of understand.but you have to look past graphics or you will miss out on a lot of great games. and square will never re-release this or 9.only one they would do is 7.which sucks.

@averageblackreviews Yeah, you get to notice the great game mechanics like drawing magic and card games. Plus melodramatic storylines that aren't even on par with TV soaps! Video game stories sort of scrape the bottom of the barrel.

@EganTheDoneDunne also ff8 never forces you to do card games and drawing only takes minutes.but like i was saying i thinks its a bit harsh to say all video game stories suck.while its tue most are cliche at best.some games storys are just as good as any big budget movies.FF6,FF9,mother 3,metal gear,chrono trigger,majoras mask, and others easily top any thing novels and movies have done in the last decade.

VIII was my first FF game and what really got me into the series. After exposure to the others I realize this one doesn't exactly have the best plot or or battle system, but I can't help but continue to love the characters in their own special way, especially Seifer and Squall.

Does this show in dept how you obtain certain items? Because I find some walkthroughs around here that don't really help escort you along the way. For example, GoingCrazy201 doesn't exactly show how he/she obtains the weapons he/she uses throughout the game. So it's very difficult to find out how to get the necessary tools to beat the enemy.

Final fantasy 8 has always been my favorite. im not sure why. i think because when i was younger, i thought Squall was so cool. haha. i like the other final fantasies too but this one just hit some weird spot in me that made me love it so much.

It was around the time of FFVII when they started making the swords used bigger and BIGGER.

FFX was one of my favourites, the storyline was unique and they added more in-game romance compared to their previous works.

I love VII also, and I hardly played 9, but I loved how it looked when I watched it. :D I played some of 9 from one of my Uncles. ^^ I love the battle song and the world map song from IX so much. :D I also love the Ukulele de Chocobo song. ^^ And omg... I love Laguna's battle theme! :D And VII had some great music too like the world map theme once again. ^^ Final Fantasy is just fun to play with great stories and great characters. Even most of the music is awesome! :D (lo. Yes, not all.)

Yep, those are great too, but I actually found IV-VI to be quite good too. ^^ Anyways, I hate when I reply wrong. lol. Only two comments were on the second page, with 7503's comment being the second. Anyways, yeah. Some songs are okay at least, and maybe even not that great and we could do without them maybe. (lol. Thunder Plains song.) And yeah, only kind of, and they reuse nearly every song. Loved most songs but the Thunder Plains song in the first part of the Guardian of Light (Clock Tower) Dungeon got a bit annoying pretty fast. Too boring... lol. It's funny you know, that I actually like songs from videogames more than songs in real life. A lot of real life songs are... I just plain don't like them. lol. I need to hear more real life songs that are good... lol. But it's hard sometimes. Some of them aren't good to me at all
