the only thing that keeps me from liking RCC completely is their shows are always so vague and hard to follow. but i guess when you play that well your show could be whatever. but it still bugs me.
To me this show would have been better without or at least with less props. They make it sort of hard to focus on the main part of the show, the musicians. It just seems very cluttered to me.
RCC is very talented group but, i didnt like this show. Mabye it was just the concept, it just didnt grab me like their shows in the past have. Not hating though i just didnt like the idea behind it.
i wish i could play this with them... it would be one of the greatest experiences ever because this has to be my favorite show of all time. it's beautiful, musical, inspirational, well written, and everything is complimented. the pit book is AMAZING and the battery gets me hyped just from listening to them. at 5:30 i even start to tear up and if i saw this at finals night i would be crying my eyes out.
Ahhhh they were even better live! Their run was clean as all get out, and I loved the meaning of their show, I got chills just watching it on here......I'm so glad I got to go to world championships this year......it's taught me to really appreciate drumline, and I also learned that PIW lines BLOW. MY. MIND! lol :)
that sixteenth roll in the beginning is dirty as balls. not pissing on rcc cause i'm not good enough to march there. but for finals...it was still dirty as balls
@rockthetenors eh, leave the commenting for the judges and just enjoy the show. Dirty rolls do just happen sometimes, and it is probably just be the recording... I'm sure they sounded cleaner in person.
Personally, i feel that this is the best rcc has been since 2007... The snareline for 07 was fucking nails. Props to this line for doing a stick on stick roll... Pretty goddamn clean might i add.
McM deserved first for sure. RCC was really good though dont get me wrong, definitely a second place show. If anyone deserved a higher placement, it was Blue Knights.
Musically this is one of the best shows I've ever seen. I guess because they were so majestic that their GE was low? I think they deserved first or a slightly higher score.

Who was the symbol guy who did a barrel roll during his dance solo? that was so epic!

@GuardNerd17 His name is Peter. I marched with him at Blue Devils the past three years (in the hornline). He was our horn sergeant this year!
