  • find the studio version, play it at the same time as this one but about 2 seconds or so ahead.

  • WoW!!

  • TheMexPrince...those of us who heard Stevie play will never stop listening for him. When I'm laying on my death bed, somebody better be playing Stevie. That sound is the only thing that will get me to quiet down and cross over gently.

  • love how he changes it up every time he plays it

  • Look that 6th string!!!

  • just close your eyes and smile =]

  • those heavy gages should of been tough on his fingers man. Brutal.

  • saw him at Nautica in Cleveland Ohio, downtown on the river. Huge ore boat going by when this song was playing. guy on the boat spot lighting the crowd.....awesome.

  • This boy will tell any other Blues guitar player Where he stands!

  • Srv ftw

  • shit man stevie looks so out of it

it makes it hard to enjoy the song seeing him like that knowing how fucked up he was

  • Turned 43 today. Treated myself to this video. Picked up a guitar for the first time 31 years ago today. The callouses that thing has left on my fingers and heart have somehow improved my hearing. When I listen to Stevie play TPA, more than any other song or performer, I know I am hearing echos from the absolute depth of human emotion. Haunting. Almost frightening. There will never be another Stevie. We will never hear these sounds again.

    ...And that still hurts.

  • @6StringsDownForever So true man. Your words sum up my feelings from that horrible experience. Can you imagine the sounds that we would be hearing from him today?

  • @6StringsDownForever pure blues man ... raw feeling like if u felt it for the first time...........

  • SRV,Clapton, B.B. King, Bo Didley, are the greatest. They all knew and know today how music was to be played from the heart and soul. Runs right through the veins. Very deep. They all have rhythym and deep souls. Gail

  • .....he was so good guitarist that he totally forgot his teeth...... heheh......just kidding,.....big legend......

  • Hey guys,do any of you know what brand o' guitar is that?? I dont think its a fender,though....
