it`s a game. in one moment a game can be beautiful, in the next second it can be a tough combat.

The "dance" is rooted in history and tradition, the "game" is to further oneself and the "fight" is brutal. Take it seriously, but have fun and laugh all the while. Capoeiristas know more than just pretty kicks....trust me.

@emute it's an unorthodox and highly ritualistic fight style hidden within (not apart from) the dance-like movements. The fact that it's so hard to see where the kicks are is the sign that it is disguised well, and the atypical style of how the blows are delivered are part of it's effectiveness. It really takes time and study to understand, I had a really hard time learning how to read where the techniques are, but they are surprisingly effective.

Very tight video!!! Nice games seemed to emphasize actual playing versus high flying acrobatics. The sound track is off the chain, nice mix of traditional music and very smooth beat behind it. If you ever sell the song let me know, I enjoyed it. I would even practice to it.
