I love Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Not only for their music, but their love for one and other, their personaletys and their faith to God. There's nothing better then them<3 R.I.P
If there is one artist I really miss, then that artist is Johnny Cash. He speaks directly to the each of us, he doesn't place himself above or intellectualise. His voice cuts right to the bone, to the core of things. Maybe I should have written in past tense, but whenever I listen to his records it's like he is right beside me ... If I ever get to Nashville I'll visit his grave and put a flower on it. That's a promise.
The world has lost a very honest soul with simple but true messages. I can understand you took this tune for theese lyrics. Youré albume with indian songs is one of my favorites. I miss you Johnny.
Beautiful song! The original lyrics were written by Peter LaFarge and the song was included in many Cash concerts in the late 1960's and 1970's. I like John and June's personalized version even more. Thanks.
Best song on the Unearthed box set.
