Jeremy this was sweet! It's Benjamin from MD, Gary's friend. I heard him leave a voicemail about checking this out, I'm not a hardcore blues fan, but I appretiate much. (yes this is my youtube account)
Haha! I was wondering if anybody would catch that! I liked that track but F isn't the BEST key to have to play in. I keep that guitar tuned down a half-step for a couple of songs with my band, so I tried that and then decided to go down another half-step so I could use some open strings also.
For the record, that guitar is 25" scale and I use 11's on it.
very nicely done .. you have killer tone and chops ... sweet licks indeed ... congrats on going thru ... i didnt get lucky enough (nerves got the best of me, as you can tell if you watch mine) ... best of luck in the finals
well deserved win man. Incredible tone, flawless runs, and I'm blown away by your perspective on the Big Band Blues backing. Good luck in the finals. Do you play the same backing track or are you preparing a new piece?
It had a very basic (three component) mod to give it a more Tube Screamer tone. I have done a little further modding to it myself and I'm still planning on tinkering with the output/input capacitors to keep it from rolling off quite so much low end.
Someone definitely came to play! I loved it...

Great playing and tone! Real swinging feel and very nice phrasing. You should go to the top, Jeremy!
One question - were you tuned down a whole step? Kinda looked like you were playing in G, and this track's in F, right?
